I've always thought Legos were overpriced. Then again they rarely lose value so you can always sell if you need the cash. I don't think the collector market will ever go away for these.

I ordered this one. And I just got the UCS Millennium Falcon in a few days ago, too. I'm kicking myself for missing out on Titanic though. Hopefully that gets back in stock soon.

Where did you find the Millennium Falcon? I really don't have room to display that one but haven't seen them in stock at regular retail places for a while.

Should be. It goes from the shelf/pallet straight into the cardboard box you get it in. Any sort of damage to the box and it gets shipped back to the factory.

@TheSavageDragon do you know if they got a lot of returns for missing pieces and do they replace them for free?

Yeah I watched a youtube video on it. Looked kind of amazing. Better than the Falcon IMO and easier to display. Someone will probably make light kits for it like they did with the other Ultimates.

I actually worked at the logistics center that sends out Lego all over the world. Located in Belgium. Some poor bastard working 10 hours a day, 6 days a week and 7 days the following week put that in a box for you. November and December are murder there.

I hope his ass was careful with it. If the box is dented it's going back.

did more than 15 years ago. they've basically pretended that it never happened ever since. of course, that's not really a surprise, as my mother had figured that shit out 15 years before that, and buried her head in the sand and barricaded me in the closet.

My mom's the same way. She knows for sure. When I was a teenager I accidentally left my "material" by the bathroom sink and found it folded back up in her bedroom. I took it and we never discussed it. We didn't have the internet at home and this was before smart phones.

Then later when I was going on weekend road trips with someone at work she said something like, "Get rid of him and find a girl". I just ignored her completely.

I live in a small town too and was able to pay off my house early making around $40k give or take depending on overtime.

People who live in or around big cities don't seem to understand how much different it is and that people making under $60k don't have to be poor.
