Of course not. It would get treated the same as DC's random animated shit that gets released. You heard of Justice League War? Yeah, it's pretty good but it's not making billions. The general public never heard of it.

Interestingly, this line was written into the script as "you damn dirty grape" because the ape involved was supposed to be wearing a purple vest and be rather rotund. However on the day of shooting, there was a mixup in wardrobe and the fat purple ape wasn't on set. Heston, being the brilliant actor that he was, realized the line wouldnt make much sense so he improvised the last word as "ape" after making the connection that he was in fact speaking to an ape. The rest is history.
