There were cafeterias on both the first and second floor and four lunch "periods", A through D. All of your classes and lunch times were scheduled in such a way to make sure that the cafeterias weren't overwhelmed. I'm pretty sure it was grouped together by department, but I don't remember. Couldn't go outside though. Ever, unless you had a pass or were with staff. I bet they'd have put chains on the doors if it weren't flagrantly illegal lol |

Blocking the ad sites from your router. That's a good thing to try at a cursory glance. I'm still using my ISP modem/router, I'll fight with the settings in the morning. Last time I logged in to change the default WiFi settings the interface seemed pretty restrictive, but there's definitely a subsection for DNS settings. |

Setting up pihole is just only more thing to bother with that I'd rather not when I can just install an ad blocker on our phones and computer quickly. Plus with my wireless access points and server plugged into the router, I don't have any free ethernet ports. Need to invest in a network switch eventually. No need to invest; if you're running that stuff out of your router, a cheap unmanaged switch will work fine to expand wired capacity. I can't imagine an eight port switch would cost much, even off a Best Buy shelf. I'm gonna probably get myself one for the Pi, I keep my mobile devices wireless but still prefer to hardwire whatever I can, so my modem is about all used up between my consoles and my TV. Gotta leave room for when I get my own file/media server working again, or just give in and upgrade to something modern lol |

From a quick search it seems like LAN-level DNS blockers work, so I'm probably gonna go that way, plus it'll take load off of uBlock on my laptop and phone and such. On a related note, I had a 42" Panasonic plasma as my first flatscreen, that thing was amazing. Heavy as lead, but great picture. Power board went out and I wasn't confident enough at the time to try and fix it, so I took it to a local shop... who told me it was "actshually" an LCD and that he couldn't fix it. Yeah, that was fun |

And yeah, I get the mental health thing, but it's really not a good idea to tell that to an employer; better to ask for medical or general leave instead and only reveal what is legally required instead. Two things to remember for mental health issues: your boss is neither your friend nor a safe confidant; and HR might say they handle all of those issues and ask you to come to them, but they work for the same company and will ultimately work for the company's interest, otherwise it'd be their job on the line as well. Sorry if that sounds jaded, I've just learned through experience. |

I've seen anti-abortion ads, an ad with various police officers staring sternly into the camera and complaining about police things and "extremist Democrats" (real quote from that one), the usual bitching about the economy, etc. Blatant preaching to the choir stuff that wouldn't convert anyone that isn't already going to vote that way; in other words, MAGA rally stuff.
