I got back into this obscure indie band I listened to in high school and found out they made another album a few years ago. I felt bad listening to it as it had a generally happy but melancholy tone. Made me realize that I've missed the boat in life, proverbially speaking, and I won't be able to have any experiences reminiscent of the nature of the song.

Not being able to afford any type of therapy blows.

Watching Peter Moore talk about how much he was and still is irked by Sony trashing the Dreamcast is oddly heartwarming.

In retrospect the conspiracy theory that Bernie Stolar sabotaged the Dreamcast makes a lot of sense.

The Dreamcast originally would have been substantially more powerful, have support for higher-density GD-ROMs and be shipped with the broadband adapter, but literally every wrong decision was made, and then Bernie Stolar suddenly disappeared with tons of money.

You can Google the Mona Lisa and see it, it is still worth a bunch. you can download digital versions of games, but the original carts can command a premium. Yes, NFT's jump that bridge from a physical thing you can touch to something incorporeal, but that doesn't mean the idea of owning something renowned wouldn't have desirability even if the ownership doesn't grant anything beyond that.

I don't understand what the ownership aspect of a digital NFT is. That would be like being the first person to download an AAA game on Steam and declare yourself the owner, meanwhile millions of people are playing the game.

Johto games suck in retrospect. Starters are the second worse in the series (Black and White are the worst). 60% of the new pokemon are postgame (esp. the good ones). Bad level curve. And the region is boring AF.

So people are paying exorbitant amounts of cryptocurrency so they can "own" digital art, yet the same digital art can be viewed and tangibly saved/archived by literally anyone, free of charge.

Additionally, so many NFTs are floating around and so many people are purchasing them that there's not even a sense of bragging rights as nobody knows/cares who's buying them.
