The Top Crusader

Grew up in a really conservative family and community and went to a private school that was also conservative, and... I wasn't a rebel, lol. So ten years ago I was well into adulthood but while my stance had softened a bit on some social issues I was still a very loyal republican.

I liked Mittens a lot, but then Trump just imploded my political views... because it wasn't just him, it was 90% of republicans--both elected officials as well as just people I know in regular life--absolutely abandoned all the principles they used to claim they stood for.

So while I wouldn't really consider myself liberal, I did vote for Biden (after a throwaway third party vote in 2016 because obviously Hillary was going to in in a landslide >_>), and I am much more open to a fair bit of liberal views and policies now, and less so to a lot on the right--but yeah, I'm not at home in either party. So I went from fairly conservative to straddling the fence I guess.

The first I heard about the Bill Cosby situation was in 2004.

I dismissed it as rumor when the accusations went away.

Yeah I remember it coming up ages ago, every once in a while. But then it just didn't get traction and I'd think "well he always seemed like a nice guy and nothing is coming of this so probably just a false accusation."

Yeah, I have the GBA carts, but dug out my Wii U to play that and Zero Mission on the TV. But obviously I'm only like one of five that actually owns a Wii U, they need to start throwing some GBA games on the Switch. Obviously as part of Nintendo Online would be ideal but man there was some great stuff I'd pay separately for if that was the only option (these Metroid games included if I didn't already have easy access).

Im a big MCU fan and like the character and I get that people switch roles in comic books sometimes, etc etc.

but yeah realistically considering just his first two movie appearances he would never be trusted by anyone and everyone should want bad things to happen to him. Obviously its just that hes a fan favorite and they want to keep him around and not be absolutely terrible anymorebut yeah all the attempted genociding should disallow that.

Yeah, I've known lots of very passionate anti-abortion folks, and its never been "I just want other people to be able to control a woman's body!" its always the whole murder thing. And for the record the most anti-abortion people I've personally known have always been women, so its not like they secretly want old white men to make all their bodily decisions or something.
