Giving people too much credit. The whole of society will never NOT dive face first into disgust in defense of "children" if you suggest "adult thing". Can you prove that he attacked them because they were asian, and not because they solicited prostitution (or he believed they did)? If there isn't enough evidence to prove that it was specifically race, then the charge can't stick. That's the part you are missing.

correlation does not imply causation. you need to prove race was the determining factor to charge him with a hate crime. is there evidence of that beyond a reasonable doubt, or is there not? I suspect the answer is no if he wasn't charged with that.

Its weird. Mens sports like volleyball and gymnastics they wear long shorts or leotards, but for the women its like here wear this so your butt is out or you wear tight booty shorts. Its especially weird since the girls are usually younger. You know some panel of men decided this too.

its not weird. it's literally the same on any kind of media. look at red carpet events. look at "beauty pageants". Look at 90% of advertisements for...anything. women are almost always showcased to show more body parts for entertainment/benefit/making money off of others.
