| _BlueMonk 07/21/21 2:16:54 PM #11 | its really up to you and what you get out of it. if you just show up every day take the classes and do nothing else but maybe party, yeah you're going to feel cheated. i went to my college for about 8 years (4 years serious schooling, 1 year study abroad, 1 year failing miserablly, 2 years graduate school) and in that time i joined a ton of organizations, groups, participated in studies, events, etc. i got my career in education started because i joined an organization at my college that had partnerships with schools in the city that let me teach there. i became a part of the community there and met tons of people, got to do amazing research, and really gave me the opportunity to learn things both in and outside the classroom. for me, college was NOT a scam. --- JISOO JISOO |
