Game of the year might be right next a pile of dogshit but you rest wouldnt know. Everyone took a lot of risks cus it very manageable to produce a game then. Now, the level of technical advancements...games are RIDICULOUSLY expensive, and take very long to produce. Gamers...refuse to understand this. also the price hasnt changed that much. Developers are on the line for a lot of money to put out a AAA game that doesnt sell. So all the complaining and whining about video games and micro transactions I take with a grain of salt. Not once did I ever feel the need to go online and complain about the "tryhards" that were more concerned about winning than "having fun" Thats cool. overwatch is a good example of a game with good casual game modes and decent enough balance that these two sides of the community arent at odds. As you take it more and more competitively I completely lose interest in Overwatch because I dont enjoy a game when you limit the available choices (heroes in this case) because they arent in the meta.
