Apparently there was a pipeline cyber attack that is threatening to raise gas prices. Thats why the market just went down.

DKNG dropping for no real reason. Could get in on it.

Just that their earnings have been doing well and appear to have made the necessary (lucky) changes from covid.

For anyone looking for long-term plays, I recommend Overstock. It is just a matter of time before Amazon is hit with a lawsuit (meritoriously or not) and takes a hit. Overstock appears to be a very good American online ordering company and I see them only growing in the future.

I'm conflicted morally. I have an ETF that has a high (not that high, but over 3%) weight in an industry (that I won't mention for now) that I'm morally against. I feel like I'm benefitting an industry I hate and some of the money I'm getting from it is blood money.

Is it silly for me to feel this way? Would it be dumb to sell the ETF when it's been one of my better performing ETFs?

Im constantly debating best strategies for guaranteed money. Im really starting to think its just holding a few stocks that you really like and selling calls that shouldnt hit for added premium gains. This way you own the stock, enjoy its gains, and get premium. But i
this wouldnt work in a bear market.

Something is going on with Overstock. It recently had good earnings and now both puts and calls are offering great premiums. Its my stock of the week pick.

So I just learned that the way to figure out which stocks offer the best covered call options is to divide its current price by the current bid price. The higher the number, the more premium youll get. I plan on identifying the highest ones, setting a call for the lowest strike out-the-money strike price, and taking the premium. I dont care how much profit I lose out on by setting a low strike price. I just want weekly gains.

Maybe someone can confirm, but my understanding is that when a high premium value is offered for a low strike price, its because the stock is expected to go. Not that its expected to go down.

I think its more likely than not that he will not mention it, but if I had my money in DOGE I would not sell it before he airs.

I said literally a week ago that putting money into DOGE was a no-brainer and Ive been trying to do it ever since. I wouldnt classify that as what you are talking about though.

I dont think so? At least not recently. Ive been doing the options trading on mostly reliable stocks.

Speaking of which, I closed my position with WYNN for a slight loss so that I could start a new one with GS. Once Monday comes and my previous GS call closes, I will either double into GS or choose another stock. BRKB offered too low a premium for my liking. Im only staying away from WYNN due to its earnings on Monday, which I did not realize until this week. I think its going to go up but I dont want to risk a potential big loss.
