Yeah, this is a perfect example of these games are not Resident Evil. Capcom only made them part of the series for brand recognition.

Capcom determines what is and isn't RE and these are. Hell they're the most RE the series has been since RE4.

It's almost like RE games are meant to be replayed on higher difficulties, with unlockable weapons, and speedrun goals. Like "it's only 9 hours!" acts like none of that is a thing.

5 has the worst playable character in the series and certain alternate gameplay segments that are super divisive. I liked them well enough but they can be a slog for people.

0 > K2 > 4 > 5 > 6 > 3 > K1

Need to give 7 some more time to percolate in my brain before I slot it in.

Both of these things have been covered by Holland Spidey though.

He doesn't outright say "with great power comes great responsibility" but says something that means exactly the same thing in Civil War. And there are several references to something happening to him and May prior to us meeting him, along with the suitcase he uses in FFH straight up having Ben's name on it.

They just didn't feel the need to bludgeon us over the head with Spidey's origin AGAIN when we all already know it.

Yeah, I'm totally checked out from Marvel movies. I found out I've been paying for Disney + for the last 7 months and don't even care to watch their stupid WandaVision junk. It's pitiful some of the stances they take, like they still don't know what they want to do with Black Panther because they don't know which mob they want to answer to depending on casting him or recasting him, even though the idea of retiring the character has always been asinine.

They've already stated months ago that they won't be recasting...

If Marvel and Sony continue to work together (and Holland has implied that further deals have been struck behind the scenes) I wouldn't expect a full replacement for a while. Holland is pretty vocal about being willing to play the role as long as he's allowed, and I could see Marvel/Sony working together to do a second trilogy with Holland's Spidey in college and Miles as a side character before any talk of replacement happens.

Depends on the game.

Sometimes you can get English subtitles by buying say, the Singapore release rather than the Japanese release. I bought Gundam Breaker 3's Singapore version since it had English subtitles and the game was never released in the West.

Serious answer: Because Sony had the Playstation 3 on the horizon and Microsoft didn't want to call it the Xbox 2 because 2 is less than 3 so they pivoted to 360 and screwed their naming scheme up forever just to get that 3 in there.

He did a fantastic job playing a coked up 80s business guy without directly showing the coke.

And hey at least the character wasn't sort of a rapist like WW and Steve Trevor are in that movie.

Alternate continuity and a terrible story but yeah in that book his semen was radioactive and gave her cancer and eventually killed her.

My point mostly being that you're complaining about Sam trying to talk the big bad down while killing their henchmen but that didn't happen here.

My bad, I forgot that Sam has a gun in that scene. Frankly, though, they're being attacked in that scene and defending themselves, not really seeing the issue. I even rewatched it and Bucky tags two guys with the gun and another with a pole as a javelin, all survivable hits, Sam hits no one that I could see, Zemo and Sharon do most of the work. And I am correct in the fact that Sam no longer carries the dual pistols, as that gun was part of his Madripoor cover.

Very much a "who cares" situation, much like Batroc's mercs who are in open combat against the US Military at the start. The henchmen of the villain Sam actually tries to talk down? Not a single one killed.

Sharon might very well be a super soldier now. And Sharon took the shot to more the side like Steve did. And gun shots don't all act the exact same.

How in the world is Morgenthau killed so easily in 1-2 bullets? Meanwhile we saw Steve Rogers took probably about a dozen bullet shots from Bucky in the Winter Soldier movie. Then fell 100 metres or smth into the deep blue water, almost drowns, and somehow still survives intact.

It's almost like the original super soldier formula has never been properly replicated every version since Erskine's has been worse. This is talked about in the show.

And Steve takes one bullet from Bucky in the side in Winter Soldier. Not sure where you got dozens. Karli took a straight gut shot.

Gotta wonder if you know what plot holes are.

It openly mocked and insulted the fan base that was supporting the series, even after one of the most mediocre sequels in history DMC 2. It acted like Dante, a fun and exciting character was obsolete.

And yeah this was part of it. Don't get me wrong, some fans reacted way over the top, but the devs threw the first shots.

I still remember the DANTE IS and DANTE IS NOT presentation they did, complete with photoshopping DMC4 Dante into Brokeback Mountain with the implication of that being a bad thing. Weird that some games journalists still worship DmC today and ignore that Ninja Theory was doing that type of shit to promote it.

James Remar's Raiden is hilarious to me considering just how much the dude is in outside of Annihilation and the fact that he's actually a good actor. Like I play spot the Raiden in some shows when I know he's in it.

It would also have given them a reason to have Scorpion in the movie more as he goes after Cole to get Bi-Han's attention, then you could get an eventual "Lmao who gives a fuck about my descendants" from Bi-Han followed by Cole and Scorpion teaming up to take him down.

Cole unlocking his powers and beating Goro would have been cooler too.
