I saw a meme about Joan of Arc and just had the craziest urge to play Bladestorm again.

Not even a great game, but man it had some cool ideas.

Aerostar for Game Boy when I was making a cross country driving trip in 2019, because my brain associates that game with the multiple summer trips driving from Washington to Tennessee my parents forced me on.

I really had the urge to find it and play it while my girlfriend was driving.

Ultimate Fighter for SNES

Nothing to do with the UFC. It's not exactly a good or remarkable game, and I only played it briefly as a kid, but for some reason it popped into my head at one point, and I had to go back and play it. I have no idea why.

...I kinda feel like playing it again, now.

Last month I was watching a streamer, Macaw45, play an Amiga game called Enemy: A Tempest of Violence. It was released in 1997 which is super late for Amiga, but the game also clearly looked like one of the best the system has to offer. It plays like Flashback but with far more action and guns and has significant puzzle platforming aspects.

So I rushed through the game and its sequel as quickly as I could.

Digimon World for PS1. After watching a streamer play it last year it unlocked a flood of childhood memories and I decided to play through it properly. Not a good game, but an interesting one!

This old mid-90s PC game called Stay Tooned

Unfortunately as far as I can tell it's impossible to play on any remotely modern operating system

THUG, but that's a classic so I guess it's not that weird

Sometimes I like to fondly remember Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, I played that several times when it first came out. I can't say I have the urge to play it though.

I have this on CD. Never could figure out how to install it into Windows 7 that time I had the random urge to play it...even though people on gamefaqs tried to walk me though it.

I thought I was the only one who remembered this! One of the rare SNES games made more difficult when brought to the US.

Last time I installed it years ago it played at warp speed, think it was the same problem. It's probably sitting on a spindle in a box somewhere now. Wonder if it's online somewhere...

But then I thought, I play the game a lot because its one of my favorite NES games and it can't be that weird of a game.

My first thought was The Neverhood. Game's 25 years old now, but due to its claymation style, probably still holds up.
