This is actually super relevant for me in a way. Yesterday I went outside to help my cousins medium sized puppy get some exercise. And that fuckin idiot decides to run under my leg and swipe me off my feet when I was in the least secure part of the cycle. Luckily with some maneuvering I just landed on my hands and scuffed one, but holy shit was I irritated. My dog does a similar thing but he's not that bad. Dogs are idiots.

Nope. First years keep getting worse every gen. Ps3s wasn't super good and that was the longest gen. If anything, them not utilizing the hardware right away might just stretch it out.

Dogs are definitely more outwardly loving. But there are definitely loving cats. My cousins makes me feel super loved whenever I come over. Waits for me to sit down and then sits on my lap and looks up at me while I pet her.

I think if you have a lot of empathy, you gotta be careful with what dog you get. Cause I take my dog everywhere and at times I feel like I'm still not doing enough. Especially since Covid. Then it stresses me out. I don't think he'd be better off with 95% of people, but I can't help but feel like Im still failing him once in awhile. It could very well just be a me thing. It's not super overwhelming or anything. Just a reoccurring worry.

As to where, with cats, they don't seem like they want a super active life and seem more content being in houses most/all the time.

Damn. Mines the black lab mix. He seems like on the smaller size of medium. Probably 30-40 pounds or something. Sweet heart. Family dog that has literally never showed aggression. He just gets the defeated look nice dogs get when annoyed lol.
