You have to have it to make his Limits work. And to make his Limits actually worth it, you have to take him up the Time Mage to get Short Charge, which doesn't really help Cloud at all. But he also comes super duper late. The long charge times, even with Short Charge, added on with having to have Materia Blade, a horrible weapon, is the worst part, IMO. It's easy to Level up Low Level people because you get so much EXP doing basic things to your high-level units. But yeah, it was a bad decision, imo. --- |
