I played it when it when the online first came out. I'm sure it's better now but the economy, slow gameplay, and lack of shit to do during those early days really put me off.

That's the only FAQ bounty I've ever completed on this site. It was a pretty decent game in the Phoenix Wright vein, but (IIRC) not with as many memorable, zany characters. Maybe that has more appeal to point-and-click adventurers.

Also, where the f*** were the rebels that were constantly doing s***? Where were civilians? Felt like there was only enemies and nothing else.

I think the game said civilians had fled those warzones (Afghanistan, that African location, etc.) so it makes sense...sort of.

What and what!?

It's a Discworld game, but instead of crazy Rincewind adventures, you play a private eye in the seedy underbelly of Ankh-Morpork. It's a point-and-click game as some of the other Discworld games are, and the writing is pretty damn good, so it's well worth tracking down.
