There's so many rules involved even just in making the thread title, and then weird followup rules, or flairs required, which don't even show up as an option on the mobile site.

I just tried and failed twice to make a post on one sub, because of some dumb rule that doesn't even show up on any of the rule lists I read. You have to answer some stupid question that only shows up in your notifications, and you only have 30 minutes to do so or the post gets deleted. I actually did everything right the second time, and yet the damn post still isn't showing up. Reddit's UI is pure garbage.

Not so much lately because there's not much of interest, but I would always use it for movies I wanted to see because I hate paying theater prices. If you make an account you get a coupon for at least 75 cents off a rental pretty much every weekend, and you can accumulate your points for a free rental.

LA's Finest was a good show. I was just talking about it earlier today. Bless the Harts was also enjoyable. Worse shows have lasted longer on Fox.

I'm bummed about Supergirl and Black Lightning, but they had a good run. It's kind of a shame since they built up the Arrowverse equivalent of the Justice League, and now one of those characters is dead and two others won't have a show anymore.

IIRC it's a safety mechanism of the body. Occasionally when you're fading into sleep, the brain isn't sure whether you're falling asleep or dying. It isn't willing to take the chance, so it gives you a jolt.

The system has a very dedicated user base to this day. At this point anyone still making games for it knows exactly what they're getting into, and typically does okay by the standards they've set. Nobody has any delusions of incredible wealth and fame. That's all to say nothing of games that are multuplatform, where not much work is actually required. But even in those cases a loss is still a loss.

Pay attention. Games were still being made and released on the store. Games were still in development when the first announcement was made, and developers found out at the same time that we did. And after that Sony flip flops on the decision twice. Many games have had to be canceled because of all this.

The dub is fun, but it's censored to hell and back. Pretty much any threat of death is replaced with going to the "Shadow Realm, and they don't even let anyone throw a punch on screen.

But even the sub was lightened up a little compared to the original story. For example, in the manga Pegasus died at the end of Duelist Kingdom, but in the anime he's still around even in the sequel series. If you want the raw uncut, you gotta read the manga.

I like both the Japanese and English versions of that scene for different reasons. In the original version he was in a blind rage. In the English version he was very much in control of himself and was sadistically enjoying every moment of it.
