They are absolutely wreaking havoc on the markets. Developers literally didn't know about the closings until we all did, and then they had to make a hasty decision on whether to keep working on their game and sell it for a very limited time frame, or abandon it entirely. And now after hard decisions have been made, this happens.

I started watching a streamer for the first time recently. I never really saw the appeal before, but I guess I just never found the right series. Kingdom Hearts is by its nature a nostalgia bomb even for newcomers, so it was fun watching Dee Bee Geek play it for the first time and nerd out over all the Disney and Final Fantasy characters (and lose his absolute shit at Sephiroth), plus all the charm and mystery or the first game.

A few times. Somebody my brother didn't like broke in while we were gone and stole our SNES and games, but we got them back. A "friend" of the family robbed us once. And another time my brother had our PS1 games in a case when his car was stolen. (Took me a long ass time to find another copy of Mega Man Legends 1 & 2.)

There was no controversy.. people voice characters outside the their ethnicity all the time, and Simpsons characters are all walking stereotypes. If you get upset about one, might as well get upset about all of them.

Man, I hate harem protagonists that fool around with other women while they have someone they like/are dating, and are still supposed to be considered the good guy. (Like the douchebag in Virgin na Kankei that messed with tons of other girls with no repercussions whatsoever.)

I've been reading an otherwise fantastic manga called Hetakoi. A great and adorable little romance about a guy falling for a girl in his club in college; it's pretty realistic and enjoyable from both guy and girl perspective. The mangaka has serious chops; it's a real shame that she passed away a few years ago.

Anyway, after over twenty chapters and just when it seemed like they were going to get together, there's one little misunderstanding and the dude suddenly goes and bangs someone else. I mean granted, he was convinced that their relationship was over so it wasn't malicious, but he had every opportunity to try and clear up the situation. It wasn't ill intent so much as stupidity. But either way it put a damper on the enjoyment.
