Went out bowling on my birthday three weeks later (wore a mask) and got strep throat. *irony trumpet* First dose was easy, just a sore arm. The second dose of the vaccine hit me hard two days later. The day-after, I was on high alert, waiting for side effects/symptoms to start, but I was fine all day. The second day, I had a slightly elevated temperature (not a fever), soreness all over with extra at the arm, chills, brain fog and sweats. Still way better than the alternative, but I don't usually have reactions to vaccines, so I felt pretty crummy and wasn't prepared for it mentally. --- Please, call me Vanai. Watch in kids' movies to see how often a "princess" is the head of a nation/empire/realm, even without anyone above her. Today, for the last two or three hours, it's been karaoke. It sounds like they have some people over, but not many. Mostly the same three or five people have been singing. It's not even 2:00 p.m., so this has been a much different type of day than they usually have. Karaoke is in my top 3 things I've missed during the pandemic.
