Yeah dependent on the work, disposable could be more cost-effective. Most places I work with launder theirs, though. Also there are the expensive ones that are made of flame-resistant material if people are working with stuff like pyrophorics.

lol it's always 1968's Romeo and Juliet starring Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey. I seem to recall watching an edited version, but in previous years they didn't have that edited version and one of the English teachers left the movie on and was talking to another teacher out in the hallway, then the scene came up and he made a rather dramatic "NOOOO" and threw himself in front of the TV (he was a goof though, so this was on brand for him).

Oh, and I went on a field trip to see Amistad in a theater, but there was a permission slip to fill out (students and parents). And obviously the nudity in that film is meant to be disturbing and demeaning rather than sexual.

Yeah there's a Geno Mii Fighter costume. The sword is from the Kalos Pokemon League stage and is meant to be a stand-in.

The Geno Mii Fighter costume doesn't come with a "face" element. It's just the hat on a regular Mii face which you can probably adjust to make it look more doll-like.

Let's be honest, this is what everyone does with any group of people they don't like.
Specifically groups of people where the thing that makes them "a group" has nothing to do with their general attitudes.

The ones who are attention seeking are the ones that make their entire identity about their sexuality, or the people that get angry when they don't get everyone praising how amazing they are for coming out, or people that high jack other peoples events to come out because it's so much more important than everything else.

I've seen people get pissed that their family readily accepted them when they came out, because it turns out its not actually as big a deal as they think and not every coming out story needs to be steeped in drama.
This seems tilting at windmills.

Is this a behavior you think is specific to trans people, or is this taking people with bad attitudes within the community and propping them up as the representatives?

The "white moderate" stance on gay people in those days was "through all this pride and marches they're just seeking attention".

And if your complaint with trans people these days is the "attention seeking", then it would seem nothing has changed.

Also we have transphobia and beatings right now.

Certainly speaks to your opinion of teachers.

Teachers can be adult confidants to their students in ways their parents can't be. It's a different interactive structure.

Parents have known their children their entire lives, from the moment they've been completely dependent and helpless through the progress of them gaining independence and self-awareness.

Teachers, on the other hand, typically meet and know their students for a short time in their lives. At this point, the student is already their own person, so it's easier to treat them as one.

I'm not saying teachers are perfectly suited for this, of course, given how at any given moment they're responsible for thirty or more different willful children, but they can still be an outlet.

I mean, what fear does a student have of telling their teacher (the one who might have taught them in health class for example) how they're not feeling comfortable in their own body? Almost none, prior to this law, anyway.

Given all the remakes, prequels, and added content, the character of Majima is absolutely all over the map and in no way something that can properly be pinned down.

The best way I can put it together is that his persona is simultaneously him expressing the lack of fucks he gives after the Empty Lot incident, and also trying to keep people at arms length so no one tries to really get at his trauma and what's making him tick.

I feel his obsession with Kiryu is, in his own weird way, a cry for help to someone that has also experienced trauma and might understand him, but he also likes the fact that Kiryu tries to keep him at arm's length, which adds to the challenge and gives him motivation.

Like you can see elements of the two getting closer in a couple aspects of the Kiwami remakes and it's quite frankly my favorite part of those games.

Very vague spoilers for the remainder of the series ahead:

And he has long-term goals, but the funny thing is that once those goals end up succeeding, the results seem to be that he's played the clown for so long it's starting to become a part of him, so it's almost like he's having a crisis of identity, and I really wish we could get a denouement of his character in a future game, attempting to tie all the varying and conflicting aspects of his life together.

I just like hearing your opinion, it is so oddly transfixed on such a hard good or evil ideal that nothing in the middle exists. It's fascinating, honestly.
On the contrary. All I've said is that it's transphobic. I'm well aware there are many ways in this world to be transphobic, up to and including abuse and murder. At the end of the day, it's low-key transphobic and if luck holds, it probably won't be anything that ever ends up hurting anyone.

But we're here having a discussion and we're valuing honesty here.

Honestly I want to apologize for the wishing misery upon you. I was frustrated because you seemed to hold a very specific view of what I was saying and I couldn't shake you from it.

What is the stuff in the middle, such as the exposed (terminal, One?) piece, along with 4 other non-revealed pieces.
Those ten tiles are called the "dead wall", and it's because they aren't playable in the hand. The revealed tile is the "dora indicator". It indicates which tile is "dora", which is always the tile displayed incremented by one, so in this case, the tile that's "dora" is the two of dots.

DoGCyN posted...
The only thing left to grasp is declaring Riichi.
Riichi can only be declared when your hand is in "tenpai". Tenpai basically means you're one tile away from having a winning hand; out of the four sets and a pair that you need to win, you're only missing one tile.

In Yakuza games, to declare Riichi, you have to tap Square. That brings up the "declaration" options in general, and if you tap Square and can't declare anything, then there's nothing to display, but if you can, "Riichi" will appear. Select that and you'll bet 1000 points that you'll win the hand (whoever wins the hand takes those points). This locks your hand and you won't be able to make any changes other than draw and discard the tiles you draw until the one you need appears, either from a draw you get (tsumo), or in another player's last discard (ron).

If you want to watch me play some hands, check this:

Like I said, you're free to be who you want to be. I'm not forcing anything on you. Is it so hard to live with me thinking of you as transphobic?

You have opportunities to have and raise children that go outside whether your chosen partner can bear them. You just refuse them.

In the end I'm just one dude calling you out. If you're wrought out over that then consider to yourself whether you actually do carry some shame for the restrictions of your "dream of a perfect family"?
