I don't think anything really indicated he was a massive jerk who was bad to his employees. Pepper Potts was loyal before he became Iron Man. He hogged the credit or talked down projects he thought were dumb but still no disregarding their health!

We haven't had one of these for a while. Last major one I can remember is Scalebound? Or that Visceral Star Wars game? But with the way things are going I think it's going to happen again soon.

Here's a list of games that have either been announced and never heard from again or have been announced and have had issues behind the scenes.

- Dead Island 2
- Dying Light 2
- Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2
- Bayonetta 3
- Metroid Prime 4

I think Dying Light 2 is gonna be cancelled. Bayonetta 3 and MP4 will randomly get full blown trailers and a release date out of nowhere (hopefully). I don't think Nintendo has ever really cancelled a game after announcement that I can think of.

Dead Island 2 will probably never officially be cancelled but will just quietly die.

Bloodlines 2 will get a mediocre mess of a game eventually.

I said events. They name drop the odd Avenger (not in a "this is what they've been up to way either") but event wise it's just the Battle of NYC. Although now that I think about it maybe they also referenced the Hulk NY fight in a newspaper or something but that's still set before the Avengers.

Depending on what they show, I think it's a smart move for them to have a Direct so soon after Nintendo's recent and first full direct in forever seemed to have a lot of people disappointed.

Tbh I don't think any State of Plays have had any real big impact. It's just not the same. Sony and third parties are generally more open than Nintendo and third parties aren't often guaranteed there. There's not as much to speculate over or get surprised by.

There is no tie in. The TV shows are occasionally affected by the movies, but the movies never so much as mention the TV shows. Even in the movie where every single hero comes together, the TV show characters are nowhere to be seen.

The Netflix shows also don't reference a single event from the Marvel movies other than The Battle of NY.

I really liked Cobra Kai and a part of that is because it's basically our world with one major difference. What if karate was like learning a superpower? That change just fundamentally changes that world compared to ours. It makes the show so over the top but enjoyable. It's not realistic and that's because of that one fundamental change so it makes sense in the context of that setting.

So I started Hannibal season 1 and I'm finding myself getting that same feeling. Instead this time the major change is 'What if serial killers were highly intelligent people who expressed themselves through murder?' Even the way Will Graham can implant himself in their mind feels like a superpower. So again the core concept of this show doesn't feel realistic at all. But that's fine. It can revel in this concept and I can enjoy it how it is. These shows know what they are and it gives them their own identity because of it.

Does this sound weird? I suppose many TV shows and movies are sort of like since barely any are actually realistic this but I find the concepts of these shows focusing on one part of our world that does exist (karate and murder) and then depicting it in an over the top and dramatic way really fun.

What about PlayStation games on PC? A whole slate of them is on the way starting with Days Gone this spring. And as for Sonys publishing timetable for the year? Well, Covid has been up to no good again and booted Gran Turismo 7 back to 2022. Dont worry, plans for the Uncharted movie and Last Of Us TV series are very much on track.

Defenders really need to be good and it was not. I think that killed all hype for the seasons that came after that.

I forget most of the plot, but I do remember having a better idea than the writers did. The Hand worships something called the Beast in the comics. Why not have them be digging up the Beast's prison instead of just some shitty dragon bones? Daredevil gave a shitload of importance to that Black Sky thing, but it ended up just meaning Elektra was meant to lead the Hand. Which makes no sense because there was also an eight-year-old kid who was a Black Sky. So why not just make a Black Sky someone who can be a vessel for the Beast?

I think it was a similar issue with a lot of the supernatural stuff in the shows. Most of it just never paid off in an interesting way other than Killgrave. Was the worst in Iron Fist.

Secondly, we have made the hard decision that Hardsuit Labs will no longer be leading the development of Bloodlines 2 - which also means that we will not be releasing in 2021 as previously planned. Since we cannot at this time communicate a new release date, we've also decided to stop accepting pre-orders for the time being.

This game is very important to us and it has been an ambitious project from the very start. In order to meet our goals for it, weve come to the conclusion that a change is needed and, as a result, more development time is required.

Wed like to take this opportunity to honor Hardsuit Labs for their efforts and thank them for their hard work on the project. The studio has done a tremendous job in laying the foundations for the game and we hope that you, the community, will also appreciate their contribution to Bloodlines 2.

I think technically the movie doesn't state it's Jimmy although maybe it was restored in the Director's Cut?

It was filmed with the intention that it was Jimmy at the very least.

It didnt work out for Snyder either. The studio said no.

Snyder also wanted to Superman's best friend to be shot in the head at beginning of BvS for laughs. I get the impression he never really wanted to make a Superman movie lol

A combination of repurposing existing spending, and if that's not enough then being creative about other opportunities for taxation that are relatively low friction since it's really going to be less than 1% of the population supporting utilities.

And if utilities as a share of employment increases because more things become utilities, that's a good thing.

If everyone is working for utilities (because everything is now a utility) by either tax payments or for charity where is the Government getting tax from? What other opportunities are you referring to?

Nice. That's less than 1% of the population of that city (874,000 people). In terms of taxes to pay those people vs the gains from making even more utilities, it's a no brainer that it can be done with almost no friction to the tax revenue of a state or the federal government in general.

You keep saying 'leverage the religious' like they aren't their own group of people with a varied bunch of opinions and beliefs. How many religious people supported Trump's America First beliefs again? How many of them are racist, xenophobic and homophobic? Are we expecting these people to universally help everyone for free?

Even in a less critical sense how many of them are just regular people who also want to spend time with their families?

There's a massive difference between volunteering at a soup kitchen for an evening and literally spending their lives maintaining society for no personal gain.

You can't just talk about a complete upheaval of society and say it's unrelated. Literally everything is related.

Think about what you're suggesting on a local level and work from there. Picture all of the potential issues you would run into on a city block. Even if a vertical farm is a perfect thing that guarantees food for cheap the real estate issue alone is going to be a major headache and that's still disregarding the human element.

I agree with you that it will be difficult. All the more reason to have free education, free job training, and most importantly all the more reason to protect our youngest minds from the way in which the billionaire class has polluted the religions vs atheism debate. We must restore the concept of a community, church has been a main piece of that and can still be in the future in the best possible way that makes us all happy in my view.

Free education would be great and a much better starting point than free everything. Do you think that will be easy? Student debt forgiveness alone seems to be a major headache to be a thing.

Also I hate to break this to you but religious people aren't as selfless as you seem to think they are.
