I've always felt there was no chance Yuffie and Vincent stay optional in Remake, but it's nice Yuffie got something extra. I wouldn't be surprised if they give Vincent something, too.

I'm not sure how a Vincent DLC will work, since he's been sleeping in that coffin ever since Sephiroth's birth.

She's not, but people like Nathan Drake and Ellie aren't very strong either. Velvet actually had a higher x-stat value than them in 2018.
