I'm close to finishing the show. I'm on season 5 and on the episode where Walter "goes straight" and gave up cooking to work at the car wash.

He did Mike so dirty, and everyone else around him. I wonder what he does to get out of it this time since in the intros to the episodes we know Walt makes it 52 years old.

i dunno.. 54 hours without sleeping and eating sounds like some navy seals training shit. Especially when you are gonna be burning all those calories doing intensive exercises.. insane.

You're allowed a total of 8 hours of sleep during the Crucible and you are given food, not sure why the article doesn't mention this. Hundreds of Marines pass the Crucible without fail. Hell my friend just got through it and is in Camp Lejune right now.

And this is nothing like BUDS that SEAL trainees have to go through. If you want an overview of what its like this video does a decent job of explaining what its like. The only thing he gets wrong is that he says women aren't allowed to apply. Its not that they aren't allowed but no woman has made it through the training before.

No. As far as I am aware, only Marines moving to SEAL have to pass the crucible.

No. If you want to become a SEAL you join the Navy pass their initial fitness test and go through BUDS.

The Crucible is the final test all trainees go through at Marine bootcamp.
