Jack Russell Terrier

Dude, I was at a customer's house today, and they had a Jack Russell who was 21 years old!

She was in pretty okay shape in spite of being ludicrously old, too. Like, I feel like most dogs older than 15 just sleep 23 hours a day and look pretty gross, but this dog was wandering around quite a bit and looked pretty healthy. She was awesome.

She had an account which she used for work, and let me use at home for Photoshop stuff that I use for artwork, game design, etc... Recently though the company decided they were just going to use one single CC account for like 5 employees to fight over, with the two-device limit, inexplicably.

Do any Photoshop alternatives like Krita and GIMP support PSDs?

So I signed up for classes in the fall semester (computer science). But a small part of my brain wants to cancel the classes so I can focus on my youtube, which is starting to do really well. Am I being an idiot? I would hate to follow the only chance I have as a content creator, but school is by far a more obtainable goal. I'm being an idiot.

Tbqh don't go to college just to go to college. It's an enormous waste of money. And also don't go to college expecting to get a nice job that pays well afterwards, because that's not as likely to happen as you'd think.
If you're looking to level up your qualifications for getting a job, you're way better off getting a technical certification.

Like, in my case, I went to college and got a bachelor's in political science and music. It cost me like $70,000 in loans, which I'm still paying off 10 years later.
Meanwhile, I spent like $1,200 for a pest control certification, and that's what I do for a living now lol.

Everyone is different obviously, so YMMV. but the one thing I would really strongly say, is only go to college if you have a dream job in mind that you definitely know you want to do, which requires a degree. if you really love it in computer science, then go for it. Otherwise, if you're just doing it, thinking you'll get a job from it, you may just end up in debt for nothing.

I am frustrated at the people who bring too many items to the self checkout. There is bagging space for three bags. If you have a months worth of groceries, you need to get in line and wait your turn. Otherwise, youre going to have the attendant coming over every three seconds to help you move your bags.

Self-checkout is a godsend IMO. I rarely run into issues with them, and even then they still take way less time than a manned checkout.

Cheat Code: When an employee comes to punch in their ID #, memorize it or take a picture of it. That way, when a problem comes up, you just type in their number and clear it yourself. That's what my wife and I always do.

I don't understand why they're making it so difficult for themselves. They should've required vaccinations for ALL athletes, coaches, physicians, staff, etc... everyone involved should've been told "Get a vaccine or don't participate." If they don't want to get one, that's fine, you do you. But you also don't get to go to the games.

Vaccination rates are plummeting across the U.S., and batches are going unused. They could've easily donated the 30,000 or whatever needed to ensure everyone travelling to Tokyo was fully vaccinated before going.

Japan in general really flubbed on acquiring/allocating vaccine doses to its citizens, and the IOC ain't helping with the problem. I don't want the Olympics canceled because they mean a lot to me and plenty of other people, but holy shit did they drop the ball.

Lol thanks. I coulda had that last game if it weren't for that unfortunate egg roll SD. He was playing kinda weird though. He kept shielding and moving his shield all around at the start of every match, I thought his controller was messed up or something.

I think he was just screwing around. I think people do that a lot on quickplay. But either way yeah, I genuinely enjoyed seeing you guys duke it out.

I just really don't see there being a large mainstream audience for it. PC gamers tend to really focus on desktops because the entire culture of it revolves around modular nature, and it doesn't seem like portability is something theyve ever been concerned with. I feel like the small group who do already have a gaming laptop.
I think it'll sell okay, but I don't think it's going to have the kind of cultural sway as a real console launch.

To answer TC's question, yeah it absolutely looks worth the price lol. It seems like a cool machine for the niche group of people who want it.
