I don't know enough about the situation in Sweden, but banning religious schools seems very extreme and anti-freedom. What is the reasoning?

Swedish schools are, by law, supposed to have fact and evidence based education and treat both boys and girls equally. Some religious schools dont follow these laws and it has made both the public and politicians upset. I believe there is public support to ban them.

So many of their translations on Swedish Disney+ are so off. They are either so different from the original they no longer mean the same thing or they are literal direct translations which doesnt work either in many cases.

My latest example: an episode of The Bad Batch which is called Common Ground in English. You know, the English expression about working together with someone you usually disagree with. Disney has directly translated the title to Gemensam mark which means Commonly/collectively owned land. Is Disney going socialist?

Socialdmeocratic leader Stefan Lfven, who was removed as PM a week ago, has until today to tell the Speaker if he has enough votes for a vote in Riksdagen to restore him as PM. Conservative leader Ulf Kristersson was first given the assignment to form a new Government but threw in the towel after two days and never took it to a vote since he couldnt cobble together enough votes.

Lfven has 174 votes in his favour and need 175. Far-Left political wildling Amineh Kakabaveh will support him if the SocDems agree to certain demands. The two main ones being to limit Profits in the Welfare Sector and to ban Religious Schools (go go go imo ).

They've been super small for a long time. The current party leader managed a bit of a revival by being young and pretty and moving closer to the nationalists but yeah this one is a bit of a killer. Maybe

She has committed an act which she and her party in 2016 worked to make illegal. It is regarding online hate and slander online.

She is involved in a legal battle regarding a house she bought from an old man who is declared unfit to make decisions like that on his own.

In this mess she wrote on her public social media that the mans lawyer once committed a crime and tried to argue that it made the lawyer unfit to practice law and defend the old man in court. This type of stuff is a legit example from their 2016 proposal.

She has now pleaded guilty to slander and is to pay damages. The best part is her saying I have pleaded guilty to this crime but I am innocent.

The Right love to talk about being tough on crime and taking personal responsibility but it is always for everyone else, never for them.

So Im going back on August 9th.

4 weeks are vacation days and 1 week is me emptying my Flexible Time Account.
