Bane: Noone cared who I was 'till I put on the mask.
Guy: If I pull that off, will you die?
Bane: It would be extremely painful...
Guy: You're a big guy.
Bane: ...for you.

Dumb people thought he was saying "I'm a big guy for you" but he was actually saying "it would be painful for you."

Any time I have to go out and be around people for longer than something like picking up a carry-out order. So it depends entirely on how much I have going on. But at minimum once a week because of bowling league.

I really hate the sensation of being wet. Doesn't matter how much I dry off afterwards, I always feel gross and clammy for an hour or two after a shower. So if I'm not going out and don't need to look presentable, I avoid it. Hell, even just walking to my car in the rain makes me feel gross and that's only getting my hands/face wet. :-/

See i'd need to start from scratch, I have a laptop but not a desktop. It wasn't a troll question, I was legitimately curious. I've always been a console user, i'd consider a gaming PC but i'm not interested in paying what everyone basically says you need, upwards of $1200 to play modern games on. I already have a modern console, and a 800+ game library with a few hundred in my backlog, I know i'd still mainly play on console because I play online with friends who all have the same console. If I could get a gaming PC for $500 i'd do it.

The point is, next time you decide you need a new PC, you should get a gaming PC instead of the normal PC you were originally planning on. Instead of buying "PC + Console", you just buy "better PC" and end up with a vastly superior experience overall.

And the savings continue for the life of your PC, because places like Steam are constantly doing big sales on popular games. I literally can't remember the last time I paid full price for a video game.

What PC can I buy for $500 that will run games like the Xbox Series X?

This is the problem with the price argument for consoles.

You're not buying a PC worth $500 for gaming. You're buying a PC because you need a PC to generally exist in the modern world, and you're simply spending $500 more than you would have in order to get higher-end parts for gaming. And you can get a whole lot more powerful machine by putting an extra $500 into your PC than you get for buying a console in addition to that normal PC.

Depends on the powers and what I plan to do with them.

I suppose I would at least not tell them (or anybody else, for that matter) until I had gotten a decent grasp on exactly what I can do and what my limits are. Provided it's relatively easy to keep quiet, at least. If I turned into Cyclops and started shooting lasers out of my eyes at all times, I'm probably going to start getting questioned when I'm walking around the house with sunglasses on 24/7.

I had a G900 for a while before it started having problems. Decided to upgrade to the G903 a couple years ago and it's been flawless for me. Got a couple friends with G5xx and G6xx series that also love them. Logitech is a pretty reliable option for most hardware. Their problems are more with software.

I've had issues with the automatic profile switching when I launch a game on both my old G900 and the new G903. Sometimes it just simply stops working for one or two applications but the rest are behaving just fine. Sometimes it just flat-out doesn't work at all until I reboot the computer. I think it might have something to do with the updates, but whatever it is is clearly on the software side so not really a knock against the mouse itself. Just something to keep in mind if you go for a Logitech. And in spite of the software, I do still recommend it. I've been very happy with mine.

Not particularly. I can't stand kids until they reach like 10-13 years old and start grasping some basic logic. I have no tolerance for screaming, and that's about all they know how to do before then.

I do have a niece and nephew who are 7 and 4. Fun to be around in short bursts. But I'm so fucking glad I can just go home when they start throwing tantrums.

holy shit why did you need that many pulled?

They were rotted and cracked. I had really, really crooked teeth as a kid. Didn't matter how much I brushed or flossed, I had new cavities every time I went to the dentist. I tried to get braces 3 times, but I had a bad gag reflex and they could never get a clean mold of my teeth to make them. There's only so many times you can make a 12 year old kid throw up on himself in the dentist chair before he tells you to go fuck yourself. :-/

After that I just stopped trying to care for them. Quit brushing/flossing entirely because it made no difference. Just rinsed with mouthwash so I didn't have bad breath. Eventually they deteriorated to the point where I had exposed nerves and broken teeth.

Then my brother proposed to his girlfriend and asked me to be his best man. I decided then that there was no way I was going to be in his wedding photos and not be able to smile, so I talked with my parents and they said they would help me pay for it all (it was definitely not cheap...). They pulled the front 5 teeth and the back 2 molars on both sides of the upper jaw, along with all of my molars on the bottom jaw. I got a titanium screw implanted on either side of the bottom jaw to fit molars, along with 3 screws on the top in front for a bridge to replace the 5 teeth there.

Took about a year and a half in total, but it's been worth every penny. I can't even describe what it's like to go from being completely unable to open your mouth in public without being embarrassed to smiling so often that people go out of their way to say how much they love that I'm always in a good mood.

EDIT: Forgot about the 4 impacted wisdom teeth. 5 top front + 2 top molars + 4 bottom molars + 4 wisdom teeth = 15 total.
