I only say that because I'm sure Marvel Studios wants to do a gradual buildup to them rather than jump right into it.

I'm sure we'll see little hints and pieces, maybe even certain members individually, before we see the actual full team on screen.

No he wasn't. In fact, Agatha literally said the exact opposite. She said she didn't bring him to Westview, only that she was controlling him.

Best Buy is far from my first thought when I need to buy a fridge or washing machine or something similar.

Can't say how successful appliances has been for Best Buy, though from my store they seemed to have fared well.

The thing with Best Buy is that electronics often have paper thin margins. A huge part of Best Buy's business model is upselling the customer on the various services they provide, such as Geek Squad Protection and Total Tech Support.

Appliances kinda plays into that because Best Buy is able to send out Geek Squad agents to do setups and repairs within the customer's home. They're really just a vehicle to drive those services, which is where they really make their money.

It should be noted too that a lot of these organizational changes are happening because of Best Buy's new CEO. The previous one was actually kind of an anomaly for retail since he'd frequently visit stores and talk to the employees, asking them for their input on certain things.

Customers already have to wait. I bought a new refrigerator from bestbuy last november and had to wait 3 weeks for it to arrive at my house.

The refrigerators are unique in that we haven't gotten many of them since COVID hit, so a lot of them are backordered.

Customers might be willing to wait for massive items like couches and beds to be delivered, but they're sure as shit not gonna wanna wait to have a TV delivered, especially when Amazon has cheaper prices and 2-day shipping.

I was Asset Protection and Best Buy decided to cut that department entirely. I was kept on for a little bit after but I'd be scheduled for store pickup and order fulfillment. I was a full-timer but they drastically cut hours so I was only getting 18-22 hours a week.

When they sat me down to let me know, it was the usual corporate stuff; "The behaviors of consumers have changed due to the changing economic climate, so Best Buy must adapt with the times" or something like that.

Tbh, a lot of people at my store were hoping to be cut and receive severance because the work environment had just gotten so stressful and toxic. A lot of us are predicting that this decision will bite them in the ass, because a lot of Best Buy's customers are boomers who come in looking for expert advice and services. That was their one competitive advantage over the likes of Wal-Mart, Target and Amazon.

Looks like everyone was right who figured they were going to make it that the Mind Stone just awoke Wanda's dormant powers. Dunno if they're actually mention mutant genes or whatever, since I think they retconned her being a mutant in the comics at some point anyway?

Well you gotta figure that if it happened to Wanda, then surely the same thing must have happened to Pietro. They explained that before Wanda, none of the other subjects were capable of handling the Mind Gem's power. Plus, Agatha pretty much said the words "spontaneous creation" so.....mutants.

And speaking of, we also learned that Agatha was not responsible for the creation of Fake Pietro, she just controls him. Meaning it had to have been Wanda somehow.

Yeah I've got a ton of money coming in from various sources (got laid off so my PTO has been paid out, plus severance, plus a bonus) so I've got some money to play around with. And I'm still able to cover rent.
