I love HBO documentaries.

The problem I have is HBO Max isnt available in the UK because Sky has a deal to broadcast a lot of HBO programming, but annoyingly they pick and choose what shows they wanna broadcast and which ones they dont.

So were in this weird halfway house between having some HBO max shows, but not having all of the good ones.

Guess this is why people turn to piracy.

yeah, you can draw lines in different places to divide up sports into leagues. you can't do the line "women except for the ones that I don't think should count", though, because that's bigoted

1. sports are never going to be 'fair' in this sense because everyone has a different body.

I agreed with the guy's take. There's a good chance it is Ron, prior to this I had believed it was Jim, and I think either of them are likely. This documentary did a good job at showing the later days of 8chan, and how /qresearch/ was a really fucked up place.

I found it hilarious that they interviewed Mark (owner of /v/ and owner of an 8chan offshoot which is also called 8chan). Apparently he did the interview for a free dinner or something. He talks about it in a stream I could link if anyone's interested (It's up on Youtube).

Most people who went to (and still go to) /qresearch/ have no idea about the couture they're involved in, what tripcodes are, or even how things can be manipulated behind the scenes. Zero understanding of imageboard culture.

Which president? If it was Trump, the media specifically asked him about it and he couldn't give many details (hence his explanation that he didn't know much about them and that he'd only heard they were against pedophiles). If it was Biden (and offhand I can't remember him mentioning Qanon by name, but he also hasn't been doing that much press -- in fact, he STILL hasn't even done a state of the union address; the Obama administration was also kinda big on limiting the press), he was likely repeating the media's talking points or whatever bullshit narrative his party's propagandists are running.

If you're talking about the January 6 rioters, most probably hadn't even heard of Qanon... not that an inconvenient fact like that would get in the way of the narrative.

idk, Qanon in general has always mostly seemed like a media-spun bogeyman. Everything about it is probably vastly exaggerated (from the beliefs to the actual number of believers) because the media needed a strawman to dismiss any criticisms about how things are run. Just like the phrase "Latinex", it's something that the media has desperately tried to make a big thing.

Controlling who your partner is friends with doesn't sound very healthy. Being very chummy with ex-BFs, I could see that leading to some tension based on how chummy they are. Certainly not grounds for an ultimatum. It'd probably end up being a conversation where both people let the other know how they feel about the situation.
