As a teacher, teaching online feels a bit easier to me. Mainly just because I know my computer well. But on the other hand, student engagement goes straight into the shitter.

As a student, though, I prefer in-person classes. They feel much more interesting and engaging.

In any event someone should probably do some paternity testing. I hate to be the one to say it but cases like these seem to often be due to rape, particularly by family members or trusted people in their circle. There's something that needs to be gotten to the bottom of in this.

Joking aside according to the Supreme Court ruling in Brandenburg v Ohio this type of speech isn't protected by the first amendment.

Which limited the scope of banned speech to that which would be directed to and likely to incite imminent lawless action. (Like a fucking coup d'etat).

Yeah I know, the joke is precisely that so many people (and usually right-wing nuts in my experience) totally misunderstand free speech as "no one at all can punish me for what I say."

God ain't that the truth. There's so many examples I've seen on Reddit where people try to guess who in a given instance is trans and fail horribly. Hell, being trans and exposed to a lot of trans people, I sometimes can't either and that's despite being able to pick up on the subtleties.

These people are unlikely to ever meet trans people and super unlikely to ever begin to date one. They are even further unlikely from dating one who confuses the gender stuff.

Most trans people I know are patient, considerate people who just want to be called/recognized as something. They are used to the ignorant and aren't trying to 'trick' people.

Yeah, don't think I've ever encountered any other trans people who were unreasonable.

But then the right can't exactly paint predators out of us like that huh.

Luckily my gf lives near a river (we're LDR and visiting for the summer), so it's not too bad. Now, on her university campus, for some strange reason it's always hell. Walking to the library is like 5 minutes but I'm fucking winded by the time I get there. So humid and hot.
