This was right around when they introduced the Cadou iirc, so I was like "ok clearly each of her 'children' were trying to figure out how to make the cadou work, and the result was vampires, lycan, now lets see the fish people". I really thought the plot was moving in the direction of each child trying and failing to bring back Mirandas daughter resulting in a bunch of deformed area specific enemies. The area definitely felt like they had more planned and just had to cut it short. --- |

They all had interesting takes on gaming, different interests, and it was tied together by someone like Jeff who had decades of experience and knowledge to back it up. Couple that with them basically just doing their own thing and having fun with it ended up with some of the best gaming content for a solid half decade there. It's been on a decline for awhile, and I've held onto my subscription almost out of support for the years of joy they brought me, but it hasn't been the must watch content that it was before, where I would count down until the next Metal Gear Scanlon release or something. --- |

Compare that excitement to the Gase hire where I think it took me a week to talk myself into even thinking "well this might not be horrible". Ultimately I'm not sold on Wilson just because I'm always wary of the qb that goes from "late first" to top 5 pick. With that said, I think the Jets are in the best position they've been in over the past decade. A new head coach which was highly sought after and only has love from his past players, a GM who seems competent in building the team long term instead of building RIGHT NOW to save his job and seemed to have nailed last years first round pick, and a lot of high picks this year and next. unfortunately the owners are still the johnsons so when this team implodes I won't be that surprised --- |
