Wrong. Kirby is. 6 jumps so hard to self destruct, simple moveset, up special is very easy to hit with.

Just replayed it. Its a great game but definitely dated. The story is barebones and just a reason to do dungeons. Without looking things up on the internet I would have had to wander around the map for hours before finding the one item I need to enter a specific dungeon. The puzzles are all legit though, and the combat is fine for a top-down adventure game from 1991 or whenever. Music is of course incredible.

Replayed it last year. Still excellent. Combat feels really good with the lock-on system. Puzzles are great. Not that a good puzzle ever becomes dated anyway. Mostly its the care put into the world, the music, sound effects, and art design that makes it a timeless classic.

The chalice dungeons are a fun little diversion while playing the main game. They have some cool level ideas (although the environment definitely gets repetitive) and unique bosses. I wouldnt do anything harder than 2-star dungeons though until finishing the main game (or 2-depth? I forget how theyre labeled). You can quickly become stupidly over leveled for the main game by doing the harder chalice dungeons. And dont bother with the randomly generated dungeons unless you really get into them after beating the game. If you hit a wall in the main game or DLC and need to grind, then the chalice dungeons are a great way to level up.
