Which difficulty are you on? Tbh the first part of the game is the hardest part by a good margin. I fucked up a lot in my first Jill run, so I was always low on resources, but there was always enough.

If you already restarted, that's fine. But I would just keep trucking with what you have.

same, but Id rather have Richard alive for that boss fight. I also didnt get the Acid Rounds from Barry for some reason. Ive been liking the game so far, its quite Metroidvania-like

Though, once you get the shotgun it's easy to decapitate zombos to keep them from resurrecting.

I tried by aiming up when shooting but itd always just whiff ;_;

I sniped one really nice headshot on the stairs near the saferoom on the right side of the mansion though, felt like a badass lol.

restarting also gives me the foresight of which zombies to kill and burn, because I know which areas Ill be passing though often

Im playing as Jill. Honestly Im not that far into the game as I assumed, Im just going to restart from the start. It seems he helps with the boss fight and you get a weapon out of it, so Im gonna try to save him. Also, halfway into playing, I realized avoiding zombies was pretty easy, even in cramped hallways. Knowing that from the start and conserving ammo+herbs will hopefully put me in a better position. This game has a very tense and almost stressful atmosphere.

Richard died, I didnt get the serum to him quickly enough I guess. Is that bad? This was a while ago, I have the 3rd mansion key so as far as I know Im supposed to fight the snake boss. Help?

Usually game knowledge and familiarity will be a huge asset to have. In HGSS there are 2 caves and a trade, so theres a near guaranteed chance of you having a Zubat, Onix, or Geodude by the time you fight Bugsy, which sweeps with either Wing Attack or Rock Throw and hard resists U-Turn. Cheren is a bit harder since you have a much smaller pool of potential Pokemon at that time.

9.5/10 game for me

harder than Castlevanias and holds your hand a lot less, it really respects the player to do shit on their own. Really felt the isolation vibe.

After beating it for the first time, I watched a 100% speed run and felt absolutely horrible for the amount of things I missed, lol. Felt like the biggest scrub imaginable.

Recently played earthbound recently for the first time. Ness>Paula>Jeff>Poo

Poo was a master-of-none character, and his use devolved into basically spamming Monkeys Love and Mummy Wraps because he was the fastest. Terribly low damage dealer, cant make use of most healing items, and has no buyable weapons. Being a secondary healer isnt as useful as you might think. Narratively he doesnt really mesh well with the rest of the cast, he kind of just shows up in Summers like hey Im here to help, and then after beating the final boss he kind of just unceremoniously leaves without a proper goodbye/resolution. Compare that with Paula who psychically communicates with you to save her from a hostage situation, and Jeff who comes to the rescue when Ness and Paula are trapped under the graveyard in Threed. I dont know if his character was supposed to be some kind of anti-joke, but I was really disappointed with him.

I wear my airpods while exercising and at work and never have a problem with them falling out. I'd say they're more secure than the regular wired ones, but if the wired ones fall out of your ears easily enough you need a hat then the airpods might not stay either.

If you dont mind the plastic suction things the airpod pros might be worth looking at though. I cant wear earbuds with them but my girlfriend swears they're way more comfortable and secure.

so the AirPods work well for you, how well do regular iPhone brand headphones work for you?

Are they better at sticking in your ear than regular Apple wired headphones? When I go for runs I have to wear a toque otherwise my headphones always fall out. I wouldnt want to get AirPods only to face the same problem except worse, because theyd fall onto the floor

They should make a 1999 game, the start being a Classicvania with Genya assembling the squad of Julius, Yoko, Hammer and the army, and Julius going on a journey to reclaim the Vampire Killer. Then, once thats done, transition the rest of the game into a Metroidvania within the castle.
