I haven't watched the show, but there's someone on there who calls themselves a vegan but prepares non-vegan food? Veganism is about avoiding animal exploitation. I don't think you should call yourself a vegan if you're bending your rules to win a cooking competition.

Meat was a necessary evil for humanity to get to where it is since food has historically been scarce and nutritional knowledge was limited, but for much of humanity that's not the case anymore. Instead of finding ways to decrease our meat consumption we've doubled down on it.

To answer the question of what will happen to the cows?, realistically the whole world isnt going to go vegan overnight. It would be a gradual shift where farms will breed fewer animals as the demand drops.

One thing to note is that the PS5 currently doesn't output to 1440p. If you connect it to this monitor it will downscale 4K output to 1440p.

Egg-laying chickens have been bred to lay an unnaturally large amount of eggs, so their calcium and other nutrients get heavily depleted quickly. So some people will feed them back some of their eggs to replenish them.

The worst part of the Battle of Hogwarts was Neville killing Nagini. In the books it's short but sweet. Voldemort invites Neville to join him, and Neville defies him. So Voldemort binds him with a spell, puts the Sorting Hat on him, and sets it on fire. Neville breaks free, pulls the Griffindor's sword out of the hat, and cuts Nagini's head off in one swing. In the movie Voldemort mocks him, and then Neville gives some goofy speech. Then there's a stupid chase with the trio trying to kill Nagini before Neville finally does.

Everyone has a price. If meat gets too expensive to afford regularly they're going to reduce the amount they eat. Non-white people have actually cut their meat consumption more than white people have in recent years.

As a fellow vegan (but pro-vax) who lives in an area with almost no vegans I'd love to talk with them about veganism. It sure would suck trying to steer the conversation away from anti-vax talk though.

Banjo Kazooie was an enormous critical success and was a contender for game of the year when it was released. Even if it wasn't the best selling game of its time it was still far more well known than Croc.

What was the franchise even doing before Disney bought them? It had been 7 years since there was a major theatrical release when the franchise was sold. Disney has been more miss than hit with their movies and TV shows, but they are at least doing something with it.

I would imagine playing with keyboard and mouse makes a huge difference. The game was originally designed exclusively for the N64 controller. That's probably why the AI has long animations before they shoot.

That's phytoestrogen. It's a completely different chemical than regular estrogen. Soybeans have been a staple of Asian diets for generations. You'd think they would have a widespread issue with it, but they don't.

Do you have a high-speed blender? You could try making oat milk. It takes a few tries to get right, but it's much cheaper than store-bought even if you do have access to it.

Much like electric cars, there's not going to be meaningful traction until the "green" option is cost-effective.

At my Aldi the almond milk is only $0.01 an oz more than whole milk. Oat still has a ways to go. Of course, you can also make your own oat milk, which is really cheap.

I stopped drinking regular milk as a beverage years ago, only using it for cereal. Then I went vegan about a year ago and switched to almond milk. Now I'm starting to switch to oat milk because it's better for the environment.

You might be happy to learn they have been working on ways to make real dairy products without the cow by fermenting dairy proteins. There are several companies working on it like Perfect Day and Remilk. And it's not far away. Perfect Day's dairy proteins are already being used in several brands of ice cream.

Considering the way things are going I'd probably end up taking it. There's going to be more Trumps to come in the near future, and some of them are going to be more shrewd than he is and not make so many unforced errors. We're kind of fucked anyway. At least me and my family would be among the elites and be shielded from most of the damage.

Black and White are popular among fans these days because it had the best story of any Pokemon game.

Black and White 2 has the most post-game content in the series.

Heart Gold and Soul Silver have a bunch of post-game content, and it's a pretty big game considering there are two regions to explore.

The only issue I have with playing some of the older games is you miss out of some of the quality of life improvements the later games bring. The best thing to come out of Sun and Moon was the removal of HMs.

The military would still have a big advantage, but they will be limited by the amount of technology they can use on the population. If you start drone striking every threat you're going to destroy a lot of your own infrastructure that you need to operate things like the drones (fuel, ammo, computer parts, etc.).

Aren't you being a bit pedantic about this? The main takeaway is that a large number of home buyers on the market are people or corporations buying houses to rent out or flip. You aren't just competing with other people who want to buy a house to live in it. You're competing with rich private equity firms that can easily outbid you.

This is why I don't think the housing market is going to "settle down" any time soon. This isn't like 2008 where a bunch of people with bad credit were buying. You have the rich buying them in cash for more than they are worth while waiving inspections. And the people in their current houses have little incentive to sell. Work from home is more common, so you don't need to move to find a new job. And with interest rates so low many are refinancing instead, giving them even less reason to move. Plus what's the point of selling your house right now if doing so just puts you in a bidding war for another one?

Are you full vegan? Like, do you use vegan pens, vegan shampoo, and have vegan shoes?

I'm still working on it with the non-food items. My work shoes are leather, but once I wear them out I'm buying a vegan version of them. I have a mountain of pens to go through before I need to replace them. My shampoo and body wash happened to already be vegan (Costco's store brand). I've been using a vegan toothpaste lately as well. The non-food items are probably the trickiest part of going vegan. A vegan diet is easy though.

Going vegan was one of the simplest major life changes I've ever made. I did it for the animals, but it's saved me a bunch of money, and I feel way healthier. The food is damn good too as long as you have an ounce of cooking skill.

It games moderately moderately well. You'll be able to play most games at moderate settings. It's integrated GPU is somewhere around the level of a mobile GTX 1050. A vast majority of games on the Mac are still x86, so most will be running through an emulation layer. But the M1 is a very good processor, so it generally doesn't slow games down too bad. That said there are only a handful of games with native ARM support, most of which are iOS games since M1 Macs can run iOS apps.

Another interesting thing is Dolphin, the Gamecube and Wii emulator. It recently got an ARM port for M1 Macs, and it runs great.
