You find the people who hurt you and seek revenge. That revenge can come in may different ways - you could learn how to fight, and then beat up your old bully or abusive old man. You could just become really successful and drive a nice car by whatever shit place your old enemies use to work. Or you could get in shape, start dating an really hot girl, and then arrange to casually run into your ex so that they feel jealous.

Or you could just start living your best life from this moment on, so that your old memories don't matter. "Yea, I use to be pathetic - but look me now motherfuckers!"

In the above scenario, the "revenge" maybe comes from some very well curated and carefully maintained social media accounts designed to run your success in everyone else's face. I mean, basically just do fucking something to marginalize those bad memories.

Me & My Girlfriend, and her Roomate all use to work graveyard shifts. So we'd go to work around 11PM, and get home around 7 PM. We had a neighbor who would get up around the same time we'd be getting home and put on "Nursery Rhymes" and start singing to their baby for like an hour, and that's what we had to attempt to fall asleep to. This husband and wife would literally blast BABY SHARK whats seemed like every freaking day, and then sing along to it "Baby Shark, do do do do do do, Baby Shark dodo do do do do do!" We could hear their baby giggling too - it was fucking weird and uncomfortable as fuck.

Not only did we have to deal with the Baby Shark people, but the building we lived in doubled as a summer school for asian kids, so around noon there would be about 80 very mild manner asian children aged 5 - 16 in our hallway, the damn water fountain and bathrooms were directly across from our apartment.

Also on our floor was a fingerprinting place, and the instructions on how to get their were very confusing and at least three times a week we'd get loud knocks on our door and people spamming our bell trying to get to the fingerprinting place. At one point some guy actually opened our door, and sat on our couch, while we were sleeping. I tried to put a sign on the door that said fingerprinting is the door across the hall, but putting such signs on doors were against the building code for residential occupants.

We also had a patio type structure that you were not supposed to go onto (and we never did) but it was very large, and you could theoretically go out there by climbing out your window. The family next too us would often go out there and chill, have picnics, do aerobic workouts, and even thought their son how to ride a bike. The issue was they wouldn't stay in their zone, and would often post up right in front of our bedroom window.

We NEVER complained. We realize that most people do NOT work graveyard hours, and we realize that half the building is commercial. So we just adapted to it.

In fact, we started having kinky loud sex whenever someone would approach on our space - to try and drown out the noise and make it uncomfortable for the others - it never worked tho. Even with a bunch of teenagers waiting patiently in the hallway to do two hours of math...the sex never cause anyone to bat an eye, and we were loud as fuck lol.

Anyhow, it was new years eve, and my girlfriend, her roommate, and their friends were having a very mild New Years Eve party. When midnite struck, and everyone went crazy (fireworks were outside, not from us) we got a knock on our door. It was the husband of the family that always blasts us with Baby Shark every morning asking us to keep it down.

My girlfriend's roommate opened their door, and the dude shamed her. Said they couldn't sleep, and we were being rude. She got all shy and apologized. I was so pissed off. I was like - you fuck with us every damn morning, and you wont even let us have New Years Eve. A day where its is taboo, and acceptable to make noise at midnight. A day where you all have the following morning off to sleep in (probably) - I went up there knocked on the door, and when the dude answer I blasted him with "BABY SHARK" on my phone.

I told him that we all work graveyard, and we have to listen to this shit every fucking morning when trying to sleep, and you have the audacity to come down and tell us we are being rude for celebrating fucking new years? I said his next action will determine our neighbourly relationship going forward. Either he comes down, apologizes to my roommate and my girlfriend - or I'm a start knocking on your door every fucking morning that you blast baby shark. So they need to make a choice, come back down and apologize...or delete baby shark from the fucking playlist.

Dude was embarrassed, came down, and apologized. I out Karen'ed the Karen.

You'll also probably lose 20-40 pounds, and make some new friends These gyms aren't expensive, ranging between 50-100 dollars a month.

I remember reading this topic last night when I was drunk and being amused at vegy's trolling abilities and jealous of the porterhouse.

The steak melted like butter. It wasn $75, and I'll definitely get that again at some point this year. The Manhattan wasn't very good tho. The waiter kept coming around and refilling it with the leftover purere from the shaker thing, so effectively everytime I took a sip he came over and watered it down lol

Waiter had a very stereotypical french accent. Made we think he may have been faking it for the tips.

My girl got drunk off a very TALL fucking glass of Cabernet Sauvignon - she was tipsy for most of the night, but the final 10 minutes she melted down and I had to get her out of there - all wine tastes the same to me.

I got the Porterhouse, Lobster Mash Potatoes, Alaskan Smoked Halibut, Shrimp Cocktail, Chocolate Pudding Pie, A Maestro Manhattan, and my girl got some expensive wine...all wine tastes the same to me.

Place got pretty wild once sun went down. We were there from 830 - 930. Bill was $275, but I tipped $50, so bill was $325. Well worth it.

We have this thing in San Francisco called "Day To Breakers" where everyone dresses up like it's Halloween and jog from one end of the city to the other. It's supposed to be a race, but nobody actually runs it. Most people just walk slowly, get drunk & high along the way, then crash out in the Panhandle of Golden Gate Park (The halfway point) and just party until the sun goes down. Anyhow, the year I met her she had created a costume to go as the Cloud from Mario Kart. She had like a stop & go light, and she wore the cloud face as a dress. I put in on my head and took a picture once:

The crazy thing is that I picked up a girl at a bar once and she invited me over to her house to play Mario Kart - so I went, and we played, and then we fucked...three times. She did beat me at Mario Kart tho.

With race it's not a valid concern. Every race is 99% the same . It's all about looks. You don't need to look like another race to embrace their culture

We say Gender is a social construct in spite of sexual anatomy, so why can't culture/race also be a social construct in spite of one's skin color or DNA or whatever. I support all Transgender people, but as a NOT transgendered person, I just can't wrap my head around the difference.

I'm assuming there IS a difference. I just don't know what it is. So just clarifying I'm not taking a stance one way or another. I'm hoping somebody can shed some light on this for me.

I grew up in an all hispanic neighborhood and spoke spanish pretty well growing up, despite being white. I never considered myself Mexican, but neither were half the hispanics in my neighborhood because they were all born in America, however, I kind of identified with the culture. My friends use to call me JD, after the white guy from American Me. I had way more in relation with the families of mexican heritage of my upbringing than I did the rich white kids on the other side of town.

There is this guy in MMA called Mike Perry who is this really ghetto white thuggish dude from Flint Michigan that now lives in Miami. He was adopted by his friends all black family as a toddler. He was basically raised black - and as such he talks in what appears to be a stereotypical thuggish accent (but its real) and he like drops the N-Word all the time. However, he has a complete pass. Nobody ever gives him shit about it except the media.

Back when Perry was a ranked fighter (he's pretty shopworn now) everytime a video would pop up of him saying the n-word there would be a media article on "Mike Perry uses racial slur" - and then all the black fighters would tell the media to shut the fuck up, because they had claimed Perry as "their own." Eventually the media did give up on it, it took them like two years to get over it.

Then there is Bobby Green another MMA fighter who is black, who was raised by a white family - says he would identify as white if that was a thing. The media kept on asking him BLM questions this time last year, and he was asking them why they wanted him to make such a large statement. There were other black fighters on the card. Then he found out it was because he was involved in a drive by shooting a few years back, and people assumed it was gang related. It turns out, in spite of his appearance and mannerisms, he was raised by a white family, in an upper class neighborhood in San Bernardino, Ca. He then went on an anti-blm triad, and accused the media of actually racism by assuming he grew up poor, and in a bad neighborhood, etc. The media was pretty shocked, and embarrassed. Their head like, literally exploded.

So I don't know. Maybe there is cause for a person to self-identify with another race. I mean, I guess I just don't see the difference?

Its basically just refusal to change and accepting ones own depression, and beyond pathetic social status.

In reality nothing is concrete, and in order to find a mate, settle down, raise a family, and die a happy successful individual you need to first admit that you are the reason for your own misery, and you need to change yourself. But like, easier said than done I guess.

Fucking depressing she has to fake them to keep her job.

That's literally the job tho. It's a restaurant to be waited on by women with big hooters. You can say that's sexist or whatever, but that's the business model that has kept them employed and profitable for decades. The women choose to work there, and although some choose it simply because of the high paying tips, most choose to work there because they enjoy the lifestyle and Frat Party lifestyle. Hooters is a notorious ho spot for working college girls to pocket spending money.

I've known plenty of girls who worked at Hooters, most declining to work weekends even though its the highest paying night, just so they could go out and party instead. The job attracts, and frankly requires a certain personality type. People who arent of that personality type often look down upon it because the job/lifestyle doesn't appeal to them, but the same girls working at hooters probably think staying inside, curled up on the bed w/ their cat, and reading a "good book" on a Friday night is fucking next level torture.
