I do not think he is a racist or a crazy bigot, but he does seem to live by the law of if you're my boy I will stand by you no matter what rule, and that makes him come here to defend his boys to the point he redirects the heat to himself

I'm not defending their actions in other communities or whatever beliefs they may have. I can only defend their continued existence within my own communities. Which is what I've been doing - and by doing so I open myself up to criticism, which I then defend myself against. Thus, the topic becomes "about me" apparently.

I'd point out that I haven't attacked a single person across the two topics, and despite accusations to the contrary, have been extremely open and honest when answering questions - but that would open me up to "sealioning" accusations or "playing the victim" shit right? Yea, I can see that.

So I'll just fall back, once again, on the reason for me entering this topic. Defending the crypto board from accusations of being a MAGA front for the laag banness or whatever the fuck. Well. I guess I do. I'm going to stick by my guns however unpopular that might seem. You do have my word that there is no racism, homophobia, or general MAGA shit that goes on within those communities. Its just not allowed.

As I said prior, I took everyone's feedback, and its going to cause me to view the things they do under a more scrutiny for sure. However, the rules of my community operates similar to GameFaqs, and until they do something worthy of being banned within one of my communities itself - I'm going to let it be.

I came here to clarify that the crypto board is NOT a MAGA group. It is an apolitical crypto community, and racism of any kind is not allowed. I stated that am in charge of those communities, not Shadow & Tails, and as such I obey ToS, and do not share any MAGA viewpoints. I also clarified that there is no secret "legion of doom" like chat or whatever, which is what this topic was claiming. This was my main reason for coming to this topic.

Discussion #2
This second discussion spawned from me simply reacting to the users inquires. I did NOT come into this group to defend Tails & Shadow's action. I came to clarify that the crypto board is just a crypto board with no ulterior motive. The circle that I've been going in for over a week now, is simply due to the flow of discussion - it is not one that I'm particularly interested in having at all.

This is why I dislike @Error1355 assertion that I've made the topic about myself, as I did not. But if all the responses are asking me these "why" type of questions then I have two options, respond or ignore. I for better, or worse, have chosen to engage.

My response has been the same. If they break ToS within my community then I will react. I do not have a negative perception of Tails & Shadow because I do not hang out in the same groups as you all do, and I only know them from crypto - in which all interactions have been positive. I will not punish them for negative interactions that have happened outside my group/observation.

Here is the thing, I've at this point clearly answered both discussion points. So what the heck is the endgame? Suddenly this topic seems to be switching over into a third discussion which is that I myself am some MAGA dude, and the crypto board is indeed a low key MAGA group. That I support hateful racist rhetoric or whatever fuck else Tails & Shadow were accused of?

But whats the point of this discussion? Is it to try and paint my response to the previous two discussion as "bad faith" responses. Okay, well, lets say you do this then...so now whats the endgame? What would be the purpose of doing this? To get the crypto board banned?

Why would you want to do that? Tails & Shadow are banned from GameFaqs. There was never any hateful MAGA talk on the board, and with them gone there most definitely will not be anymore. So what's the point of going down this path?

To piss off Shadow & Tails even more? I checked out Tails twitter, he's pissed as is. Shadow, as far as I can tell from my interaction with him in the crypto Discord doesn't seem to care. So how would getting the Crypto board banned somehow hurt them? It wouldn't. They would still be banned.

Still missing the part where Tails & Shadow do not act like this within my communities. I've never witnessed such posts made by any of them before. As I'm said over a dozen times by now - I'm not going to marginalize your experiences. If they have been negative, then that is your opinion. I will not defend them.

Let us diss and mock the place, after all, it has those two playing a very, very prominent role in it.

As the actual owner of the crypto board, and leader of the crypto community - if you are going to openly diss it, and try to label it a white supremacist hangout or something, then it would be disingenuous of me to not come here and set the record straight.

My stance is that until they start breaking the ToS within my communities I won't act. I'm not for preemptive banning. I'm not the thought police. I run a crypto & decentralized community. As long as they continue positively contributing they are fine as is, in their current roles.

If you want me to personally admit that they are bad people or whatever. I can't. They have only treated me and others within those groups with respect. I have no negative experiences with them.

My morality calls on me to judge others by how they treat me, and how I observe them treating others. I live and die by this mantra. If you have a different set of values that's fine, but these are my communities, and I will manage them from this pov.

This is the same circle we've been going through for weeks now. Nothing had changed.

What are facts:

Did you tell them that you were currently going to extreme measures to defend your association with somebody who says that LGBT people are the equivalent of pedophiles?

I go through this literally everyday on Facebook. Half my friends are from my hometown of PHX, and they are Uber conservatives. The other half are from San Francisco where I've lived for the past 11 years and are Uber liberals. They often mix their opinions on their comments on my posts. Happens all the time.

I mean I was literally roommates with two gay friends of mine for half of 2020. One of the other guys was a Morman too. So this was dinner table talk as well. The mixing of opinions and all that.

Contrary to popular belief from people who live in bubbles in the internet, actual human beings interact and befriend others with difference in opinions all the freaking time.

It's part of the reason why I choose to judge people individually based on our individual interactions, and not on anything else. Most people, at least irl, understand this... because they do it too. I've never taken any serious heat from my liberal friends for having conservative friends, and I've never taken any hear from my conservative friends for having liberal friends.

It's is helpful. Before these topics I had no awareness of these issues. Now I do. So now I am more cautious. I can interprete their various actions from different perspectives.

If they happen to do something within my communities that fall within these realms, I now have some context to draw upon.

It doesn't mean I'm going to go kick them out of my groups because of it. Until they misbehave within my communities, I'm not got to act out. Why would I? What sense does that make at all?

@Error1355 being a lifetime moderator should be able to relate to that. You can't ban someone on one platform for something that they supposedly did on another. However, what you can do is note it, and use that context to help you make thoughtful decisions when it comes to interacting & managing those users within the communities that you are responsible for.

This should not be controversial take.

I didn't want to do this to him, but he just upped the propaganda today by doing free publicity for that twitter.

Someone else posted the Twitter, and embedded it into the discussion. I wasn't even aware Tails had a Twitter. Which I stated. I clicked the embedded tweet to visit his Twitter, actually thinking that maybe it was full of the racist shit y'all keep trying to get me to see, but didn't really find anything. What I did find was a recent post mentioned the crypto board, so I responded and addressed it.

Yes. The same thing I've been saying.

Shadow was an admin of all crypto channels. I am the defacto leader however. It's my community. You are getting hung up on the semantics of the word "run" - maybe I should have used the word manage? It's whatever. Doesn't really make a difference.

I only know of Shadow & Tails from the crypto board. I don't even know what Laag & lue are. When both got banned on the same day, along with some light board Invasion type posts I assumed it may have had something to do with crypto. That's the comparison I had made, knowing nothing else about the two.

They were pillars of the crypto community. They helped me get the board and discord off the ground. They helped recruit members. They positively contributed to discussion.

These are the same things I've been saying throughout this topic. I'm somewhat flabbergasted that you are suddenly acting as if you've found out new information.

Semantics dude. He's an Admin. I never denied that. But I'm in charge. He does what I tell him too. Which may be why it isn't another lagg or whatever, but a legitimate crypto community.

All that other stuff. We are just treading the same ground over and over again. I only know these people from the crypto board. They behave on said board. Therefore there is nothing for me to moderate them for. There is nothing for me to judge them negatively on

You all want me to see the light or whatever, but I have no desire to join lie, politics, or any of your other GameFaqs regular communities. How can I judge someone for their actions in communities that I don't even frequent?

I judge people based on how they treat me, and how I observe them treating others. I believe that is a great philosophy to have, and one I'll die on the hill of to defend.

Which is it? Is it that you don't believe it's true or that you don't care as long as they don't say it in your particular space?

Its both, They are not mutually exclusive. I don't hang out in the communities that you all do, so I never see them say those things. So if they did say them, I didn't see them, because I'm not involved in your political gamefaqs drama in anyway shape or form, and therefore its hearsay.

Also stop putting words in my mouth. I've said dozens of times now, literal dozens, that I'm not marginalizing all of your experiences. I'm not saying "I don't believe you" what I am saying is that I'm not willing to ban people based on your heresay. It doesn't matter if I believe you or not - if I don't see it, if it doesn't happen within my community, then it doesn't matter. At this point it's pretty clear he just straight up agrees with tails and lordshadow_19 and is just trying to save face here and act innocent.

I literally know nothing about there GameFaqs drama. I wasn't a member of Laag or whatever. I don't discuss politics. I stay on the MA board mostly. I only knew these guys from crypto, and in those communities they behave. Everyone is trying to get me to moderate them based on shit they said on boards I never frequent.

You say I "agree" with them but what am I agreeing with? I don't even know. I'm not even in those conversations.

I noticed he mentioned my board in a recent tweet. I think he's basically saying that the answer given for politics board applies for the crypto board. Which is basically, if you don't like it then don't visit. As oppose to advocating for it's removal.

No comment on the rest however. Seems mad he was banned - which is understandable. At first glance doesn't appear to be racist or whatever. Unless there are some individual tweets y'all want me to look at.

I didn't ignore it. I took it all in, said it was valid criticism, and still stood my ground. My values are to simply treat people as they treat me, and how I observe them treating others.

So this analogy is 120% correct to you. There is nothing I can do to defend myself against it. However, I stand by my ground that heresay means nothing to me. I have no negative experience or any anedictal evidence to show me that this trio are indeed what CE claims they are.
