The one thing that makes me think that a AAI1+AAI2 collection could happen is that the games are already on phones. Most of the port work is done. The main thing would be localising AAI2, which is not nearly as much work as what they did for this - it would probably be a much cheaper, quicker job if they do port over the phone version.

With that said, I would expect both AA7 and a 4-6 collection first so it would be years and the series would need to stay healthy.

No you arent, workers rights are terrible in the US by comparison though I dont know much about exact levels of harassment. It certainly gets reported, like Riot in Dublin. The systems to protect workers here are better for sure.

Yeah I have to give this one a 9/10 as well. At first I thought it might be lower but the more and more I reflected on it the more I realised just how much of an emotional impact it left on me even though it didnt feel like it at the time. I still think about the baby in the bathtub all the time. Of course the storytelling is excellent, some of the best ever, but after some thought the story itself really lands as well.

On the translation while I would say that everybody should use their own system for whether or not it factors in, it was a part of the experience for me as it formed the very basis of the English script and directly affected my enjoyment. It is also very disappointing that they never gave it a good new translation even though the PC one all the recent versions use is a lot better.

On Sephiroth he was always the weak link of the main cast for me. His first appearance is very effective, the flashback work really well despite his motives being frankly goofy, then his later appearances get increasingly less effective. The more he needs to actually carry the narrative the less he works.

With that said the real weakest character is easily Vincent. I played this game in 2006 so a good while after release but still closer to that than to today and he always seemed incredibly lame - you can criticise Sephiroth for being 90s cool but Vincent has nothing else to him. Its been funny seeing his popularity decrease over time as people realise this lol. However thus does not greatly affect my rating as he is such a small factor in the game.

Yes no poll allows for more options in voting, is harder to stuff and lets me keep track of peoples votes for changing them or adding votes to old days.

Also this is like an 8 in my heart but I cant justify more than a 6 as it is quite simple and rough in many ways. I think it has a lot of things going for it.

First, to totally steal an argument from Austin Walker about Revenge of the Sith, there is a reason that EVERYTHING in this game became a meme. Its because it is deploying very universally understood and memorable epic or poetic ideas then executing it all effectively. Its not a detailed drama its an operatic fantasy.

Second, the branching narratives of this game are genuinely impressive - its fairly rare you see something like this even today. It also actually makes sense unlike say Shadow the Hedgehog which does the same idea just terribly.

Lastly, the presentation was genuinely ahead of its time. Not only does it have full voice acting and a cinematic style, but it seamlessly integrates the story with the gameplay rather than relying on cutscenes.

At the time Star Fox 64s storytelling was genuinely impressive and it does hold up better than its contemporaries even if I cant call it amazing by todays standards.

Great visual storytelling, and the ending is fantastic. Its the secret ending that really helps it work however.

I feel the best thing about the game is despite there being no dialogue or exposition everything makes sense and there are no loose ends at all.

Oh Rannoch is absolutely better than Tuchanka but a lot of that comes down to gameplay variety. Tuchanka felt lacking compared to Mass Effect 2 while Rannoch felt on a level with it. Both head and shoulders above the entire rest of this thing either way.



Also after looking at this again Kai Leng may be the worst written character that Bioware have ever done.

In theory yes if theyre fair arbiters their personal opinions do not matter. If theyre actively expressing unfortunate views such as say, implying that people lost their minds because they protested against rising fascism, thats a different issue. Especially when someone might already have concern about GameFAQss top level for the way they refuse to ban repeat bigots, the slow moves on handling extremism, and actively giving extremists a place to hang out for years. These views are certainly not reflective of the majority of the userbase so it really raises some questions.

So Mass Effect 3 is a difficult one to rate, as the quality of the of the story actually changed a lot over time. The version they released in the base game at launch was outright bad. You can forget the ending, it was missing key parts of the plot that added context to what was happening. With that said the original ending was also just dreadful as well. However through DLC they got all of that back in there and raised the quality of the ending from awful to underwhelming. It is a vastly better story. There are still huge problems with it of course, from the diminishing of the Reapers as a threat to the focus on Earth to the way your choices barely matter to edgy boy Kai Leng. So I will give it a 6.

I liked this quite a bit. Some of the Taskmaster takes are baffling, they are clearly being set up for more. Theyre not the main villain, and if they had spoken more the character couldnt work in the story. If Taskmaster is your fave in the comics that would be unfortunate however as the story of this film goes it is fine and that is all that matters for this film. And if you fo want to see that Taskmaster, no need to worry as they will get there.

Otherwise it was solid. I enjoyed that it actually stuck to its genre roots and didnt go into generic superhero fare near the end like Winter Soldier does. Florence Pugh was predictably amazing. I enjoyed the brutality (shocked this got away with a 12) and the darkness of the themes, the entire film was essentially a thesis on the exploitation of young women by powerful creeps and it really worked. Its probably the most effective message in a Marvel film.

Speaking of, the villain is just fucking Harvey Weinstein. That's it. You just had your villain be Harvey Weinstein. She literally walks into his office and he's sitting on a couch. Just read between the lines and it's obvious what they were going for. Like fuck Harvey Weinstein, but who made the call to make his stand-in be the main villain of a superhero movie? You couldn't have done anything cooler?

To that point I simply have to say and? With what this movie is about and the themes it is dealing with how could any other kind of villain be appropriate? They also clearly took a lot from Epstein as well, but that tracks with what this film is actually saying.

Basically the first post. Copaganda is extremely noticeable to me now, especially in American media. Even Blackkklansman struck me as odd with how pro-police it was.

I also no longer find stupidity in media especially unusual or bad writing, Ive accepted that wide swathes of people have no idea what theyre doing.

Oh and I also want to know what turned people off of South Park. It just seemed like a mix of edgy try-hard silliness and enlightened centrism for years, to me anyway.

Hungary has cultural connections to the east of Europe that go well beyond Soviet influence, for instance with Romania. I also dont really buy Central Europe as a concept because I dont see how you can group Germany with Poland over France, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

I would therefore suggest the following:

Northern Europe - Iceland, Ireland, UK, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia.

Western Europe - France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Germany, Switzerland, Austria.

Southern Europe - Portugal, Spain, Andorra, Italy, San Marino, The Vatican, Malta, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey.

Eastern Europe - Czechia, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia.

This is basically the UN definition only with Bulgaria in Southern Europe as it is geographically very southern and has ties with the rest if the balkans and Turkey.

8-12 (so about $9.50-14 USD), this being in a ludicrously expensive capital city, wtf at some of the prices in here. I love the cinema experience and would much rather view films there than at home but looking at these prices and listening to stories online especially from America, so I guess Ive been lucky.

With that said, there is a cinema where tickets are 19 but it is clearly intended as a premium experience, massive armchairs, leg rests and so on.

The people who played Wind Waker liked it, but the artstyle put off people from buying it, so it under performed sales-wise.

Wind Waker sold really well! I believe behind only Ocarina of Time for attach rate - it was mainly held back in raw numbers by the Gamecube. By franchise standards it held up better than Super Mario Sunshine.

The only major Zelda game you can kind of argue underperformed saleswise was Skyward Sword and that had a huge launch then dropped off. This version will do much better as the Switch is in a much better place now than the Wii was then. The actual lowest selling is OG Majoras Mask though.

But to that point when you look at how Skyward Swords contemporaries reviewed on rerelease, Id say its probably still one of the best games from that year they have all just aged.

They did, but probably not as much as some want. The intro is quicker at least. They also improved the text speed and solved the repeating item descriptions. Its a faster game now.
