Yeah but if you have the Childe/Fischl/Beidou combo, with all of them at C6 with good 5* weapons, how would they do? You wouldn't have that big damage explosion at the end but you'd have so many high damage attacks coming so fast, I could easily see it having higher overall DPS.

Anyway my point isn't to say her DPS isn't great, just that she doesn't break the meta as much as people seem to think. She doesn't make all the old 5* characters look weak and useless by comparison.

No 5* character in the game makes all the rest look weak and useless by comparison. Ganyu is stupid strong but Diluc is still very powerful and serviceable. Eula has her niche as the sole 5* physical dps and she fits the role. I can't really speak on her meta viability since mine is C6 but even before she does what almost every 5* does, which is clear all content.

Idk for this game I only slightly follow the meta. I understand why things are strong and what is strong but I would find myself getting bored just chasing meta. Like some of the most popular teams on the reddit at least revolve around only 4*s but I just couldn't meta chase myself.

As someone who's more less collecting every unit, I wouldn't do it unless you can afford it financially. Most characters released, I mean 5*s here, are DPS characters and you only need one or two of them to comfortably beat any content in the game.

On a side note I didn't release that approval to join got turned off somehow and next I know I see a random Klee that I thought was part of a quest but nope a random joined, but I helped them 5000 point expert clear the 4th event stage so I might leave it off because it was kinda nice helping someone.

To be fair it's not hard to be under leveled for Brawly, there are very few trainers in between him and Roxanne and he's higher level in Emerald. Besides cheesing him with Sabele he's not a super easy fight. All his pokemon have a set up move with bulk up and they hit very hard because of it. He's not super hard but going in blind he can be difficult.

He's one of my more used units since he fits just about everywhere and his low use time makes him very flexible in most team comps and I love pairing him with Zhongli.

Playing a randomizer is simple. There's a program that if you Google Pokemon Randomizer that can randomize literally every game. All you need is a legal rom and emulator to use. Really straightforward

Prioritize getting at least 24 conches. Everything else is just upgrade materials essentially.

The final event mission is super easy you make these bombs that explode for 80k damage and just kill everything in 2 seconds.

Oh I already did the conches just haven't bothered with the last two events, I'll do them within the next couple days. Also still have to 36 star abyss also stopped at 18 hunting for primogems.

If having a C3 Eula has taught me anything, its that having a grossly overpowered character actually makes the game less fun. I actually dont want to build her, because she pretty much deletes content.

I've benched pretty much all of my characters if they are friendship lvl10 eg Ganyu, Hu Tao, Keqing but I'll use them during events at times and I alternate who I want to use for abyss depending on how I feel.

So I admit I'm a gacha crackhead who does standard banner pulls but I just got C5 Lisa and honestly once she's C6 she looks like she can be pretty strong sub dps. Her 3 stack E damage numbers are pretty insane even at lv.4.

Lol if you think MM is bad, you should never play Pikmin or even Pikmin 2 for that matter.

With MM at least you can reset the clock and slow it down. The only annoying thing is that pre-internet you would need to track what happens, where, and at what specific time during the 3-day cycle to accomplish an event, which is less fun than tedious.

Modern games that have anything remotely timebased like quests in Xenoblade, you can literally adjust to the very hour, so it removes all tedium.

To be fair Pikmin 2 doesn't have a time limit on beating the game, you can spend as many days as you need doing whatever. Pikmin 1 however is fair game, if you aren't familiar with the game it can be stressful.

Exactly my mindset, Sucrose actually has a niche as a sub/main dps now because of these changes not including her amazing support abilities so I'm failing to see a reason to pull Kazuha since he'll just be a slightly rich man's sucrose. Doesn't help she's on a rate up banner atm.

He was already too good and that buff just makes him even better :/ MHY likes him a lot it seems. But I still refuse to pull for him.

They're really trying to push that Kazuha banner revenue up but broke balance even more, guess electro will get the same treatment for Baal or Sara banner.

it's already been well over 100 in the west, but where i am in dfw suburbs it won't be 100 for a while, 95 tomorrow

I work at DFW airport and it definitely felt over 100. It was about 98 today but with humidity it was around 107. Absolutely boiling, good thing I don't have to go outside too much for most of the day unlike the ramp workers because I feel for them right now.

Honeyworld has all the numbers for lv.15 talents so we know they're actually in the data files just no way to get them that high atm. My only problem is weapon level materials. I feel those hard gate me the most. I really only level up 4 characters at a time then friendship level 10 them and then move on to the next batch so I don't notice the character level up issue.

Unless you're hitting on average 10-15% crit rate on all artifacts or running spine, that circlet is pretty much the best you can get on her.

They should have reworked him then, pretty crazy how two extremely good characters get buffed while they won't fully address electro issues as we head into the electro region. Sigh, guess we'll see what they do before they seriously start releasing Inazuma. And honestly I don't know how they expect Kazuha to even compete with Sucrose and Venti now that I think about it. He's pretty dependent on Constellations for buffing and damage.

Lost Prayer is the best catalyst

I like it for it's crit substats but I understand why people don't favor it much, it's passive kinda conflicts with the whole reaction based game play and it takes awhile to ramp up

Weird, because I'm seeing some really nutty Overloads for seemingly no reason, particularly with Fischl, Venti and Yanfei.

Also, I've ascended C3 Yanfei to 70 and I can say without a doubt that I prefer her over my C0 Klee. With no exceptions.

Well Venti is just out of this world broken at this point so yeah I can believe that. If you haven't gotten to him to lv.90 yet he'll do even more damage with swirl overload shenanigans.

Anyone else notice that Overloaded seems to do a lot more damage than Vaporize now?

I can confidently say that it doesn't, high EM overload does do significantly more damage then it did before but it still can't compete with a modifier that allows you build pure dps and splash EM on the side. You need around 1000EM to see crazy overload/electro charged numbers but you sacrifice atk% and crit stats for it.

So basically electro Sucrose but without VV, idk sounds worse then a 4* character to me. I'm sorry for coming off as aggressive but these electro buffs are pretty bad. That's why we haven't seen any new electro characters because they know they can't sell them as they are now.

Yeah I hope they "adjust" electro again before Baal comes out because unless her kit is completely busted we're going to have another Zhongli situation again. Fischl and Beidou pretty do everything you need for a electro support and we literally have only one pure Electro DPS in the entire game so far. We keep getting nonstop pyro dps characters and other elements actually have utility or have even more broken characters, Ganyu and Eula. I'm just disappointed I guess and I want to like Baal but electro is still trash.

Yeah, this was pretty much a Sucrose/C2 Kazuha buff tbh. Unless you run one of those two on your team or build your comp around it aka C6 Diona or Albedo its not going to be a huge increase. But this still applies to all reactions besides just Electro ones so Electro is still pretty bad by comparison.

I'm guessing unless you stack a lot of EM, aka Sucrose, roughly around the same imo.
Well I guess if they consider this a electro buff, Baal will probably give a free 1000em on C6 to actually allow your electro reactions to do damage.

Hu Tao not gonna change really since melt & vaporize weren't affected by the em buff. I mean maybe you're using a weird overload setup but I think most people aren't.

Yeah, I couldn't really tell a big difference tbh even with roughly 250 em on a vape team. I'm gonna test out Electro Charge next

Whoops, meant to test out my Hu Tao's damage after the EM changes and forgot I gave my Staff of Homa to Zhongli and wondered why she was doing much lower damage then normal. She had a underlevled skyward spine equipped

I feel if the game was a standalone one time payment type of game the MC would definitely by able to use every weapon type. I'm sure they'll introduce the whole multiple element thing and allow the MC to get it first before allowing characters with delusions and maybe those outside of the visions power aka Dainslef.

Edit: Less then an hour to go now, gonna buy the Jean skin and hope RNG takes pity on me and actually gives me Jean soon. Also Redeemable codes GENSHINEPIC and GENSHINGALAXY can be redeemed if it hasn't been posted yet.

Also it's been hinted at but something strange is gonna happen when Traveler finally masters all 7 elements. Dainsleif also has no vision so something super weird is gonna happen after that.

I can also see the introduction of new weapons. I fully expect we're going to see fists as a weapon eventually. We might eventually get equippable / interchangeable delusions.

New weapon types would definitely be the easiest way for sure. I could see them introducing delusions also and possibly a 8th element if they go the void route. My only concern on the delusions is how they monetize them, obviously we have childe who has a confirmed delusion but do they release a whole new iteration of childe or have some type of awakening type material for it.

I don't know if more team slots would work but I agree. I rotate around a Keqing and Hu Tao with my main team but I only use them in Abyss and i didn't even use Keqing this time around just because I wanted to try out Eula. I usually use friendship farm teams for anything not spiral abyss although I tag in Zhongli and Bennet for the annoying domains depending on what i need.

I am curious if they'll at some point expand on the game engine/mechanics. I'm not expecting Honkai levels but i wonder if they'll come up with new systems or something to spice things up after the game's been out for awhile.

I remember when doing the Unusual Hilichurl event I fought him on top of a mountain, he was almost dead so I decided to use Diluc's Burst. It didn't kill him, he got pushed of the mountain and fell so far down that he despawned and respawned with full HP ...

That sounds unlucky, probably sent it flying too far. I knocked him off the cliff where the spiral abyss teleporter is and he died from the fall.

That's still really usable until you luck sack into a better potential one.

But to your point that 4* support characters are still used is mainly because they haven't released any characters to replace them at this point. No one applies as much off field hydro as Xingqiu or electro with Fischl. Most of the characters released after the beginning are either all dps characters or supports that don't completely overlap with older supports like Albedo or Zhongli. Only one I can think of is maybe Kaeya being powercrept by Rosaria. But it's only a matter of time till the supports get powercrept, just hope it's not by 5*, characters

Yeah, we got some obvious haters in here who don't know about the game at all. The game is gacha and I admit that gachas in general are trash because they are predatory from the get go. This game at least has pity counter that carries over from every banner of that type. So yes it's pretty pay 2 win to get every 5* character but you will get 5* multiple 5* characters the longer you play. Not many gachas carry over like Genshin does at least.

It is anime in presentation but the characters and stories really aren't super generic shonen anime style. I won't say the story/stories are super deep or anything but it's decent imo.

I will agree that they're hasn't been any drastic permanent updates although they are on the way with inazuma. But they do come out with constant updates with new enemies and minigames to do. Overall it's a gacha and it doesn't appeal to everyone but it's a pretty fun game imo.

Hu Tao isn't that bad lol, in terms of characters I can deal with I would take her over fischl any day of the week.

Hmm, Baal looking pretty good, but Electro support is pretty eh as of right now. Fischl is good because her kit is busted, Beidou is the same. Keqing is very strong but held back by Electro. So basically Baal would have to have a broken kit to be great.
