I remember my response was to ask if god has a wife. I held on to some form of theistic belief, from Christianity to deism, to panendeism and others, until somewhere during early college I decided that there's no good reason to believe in god. I think it's unlikely that god exists, and consider myself an atheist. In the event that I'm wrong and god does exist, there's no reason to think any religion past or present has any insight into it, nor is there any reason why there should be an afterlife. --- CE's friendly neighborhood rationalist. |
