Scramble was developed alongside Royal however they did not know the story of Royal and so they had no idea how the plot of Royal would play out and thus that's why a certain someone is not in this game. It's no different than why a certain someone was missing from Persona 4 arena.

Don't be somber, if there ever is another persona 5 game that certain someone most likely will be in it since nobody hates that certain someone as much as people hated the persona 4 character.

I liked a whole lot Hoverboards over carts definitely felt like a Sonic thing as well as the designs for all the characters, the trick system was pretty cool once you figured it out
The things I hated were the sections in the stages where you had to but the controller in a circle, the AI characters could do this much much faster so they'd end up passing you if you were at that section together no matter what.

Speaking of the AI they were some big cheaters
They never lose their speed
They never lose air
They are always at max lv 3
Their rubber banding can cause even a perfect run to be ruined when they jet past you suddenly.

That being said, Cream was a little fucking monster in those games, put her on a light board and she just rips up the track, take it easy on her my ass

Shame about Gravity and Free Riders, I liked Gravitys plot but they not only reduced the trick system to 1 button at the right time, they took away the boost, the turning, the ability to make a tornado, attacks were regulated to random item boxes, tracks took even longer because every single one of them had a straight line for the Unleash Gravity gimmick

Free Riders might be the worst one first time the extended cast gets involved in the plot and it's just a generic tournament, no cutscenes at all just the character select art in front of a makeshift TV screen
On the fucking Kinect when nobody liked the Kinect as it was Microsoft's attempt at the Wii long after the whole motion control gimmick honeymoon phase was over

So, did they force it to be a star fox story because of brand recognition or because the main characters were foxes anyway and shigy figured "We already have a Fox main character just use him"? I mean, it's not the first time a game on it's own became an extension of an existing IP just for the brand, Doki Doki Panic might be the most infamous example.

Personally I think that Wario World may have been it's own thing before they threw Wario into it because he's a popular character with a brand

I was aid playing it when I wasn't occupied with anything, got a few shiny pokemon like Lugia, Mistravious, Snivy, Charmander...then I heard about the shiny mew, I was excited, then I found out you need to be level 40 to access the event, then I found out it was a paid event, then I found out it was only 3 hours longs

Fuck those bastards. I quit, I'm glad I never paid a dime playing it I'll just take the pokemon I did manage to capture and port them over to home to my brother's gen 8 game
