Sailor Sabol, a University of Florida Freshman and member of the College Republicans won the honoour of performing the Star Spangled Banner and reaction to her singing has been very unfavourable as they called it horrendous, off key and tone-deaf Twitte users noticed she sang an a capella version but then changed several times to different keys of the song as one said "I consider myself somewhat of a connoisseur of bad national anthem performances. This one has it all: inexplicable key changes, devastatingly flat notes, dogs*** rhythm, strained holds and confusion between or and o'er. Whose neice is this?". The New York City employee said she is not an "anti-vaxxer" but wanted to wait for more research as she recently started trying to get pregnant with her husband and is worried the side effects might harm the child She started working at Red Hook Tavern in August and the restaurant sent out an email on February 8 that said "If you choose to get vaccinated, here's what you need to know" She told her manager during a meeting that she was going to wait and her manager initially understood her concerns telling her she wouldn't be required to get it until they changed their mind a few days later and sent workers an email stating it was now mandatory It said "Please be advised that we will require that all employees will receive the vaccination. This will be mandatory for all existing employees and any new hires. The exception to this policy will be if your own personal health or disability prohibits you from obtaining this vaccination. We encourage you to consult your healthcare profesional to determine if getting a vaccine is righ for you" But Bonnie said she employeed her employers about not wanting it who said "i am choosing not ot get the vaccine because there just isn't enough data or research at this point on its effect on fertility. While i fully suport the vaccine and understand its importance i do believe this is a very personal choice. I really hope this choice would not affect my employment at Red Hook Tavern" She insists she takes COVID very seriously and practiced social distancing guidelines as she regularly gets tested and has never tested positive. She said once there is more research, which could take MONTHS or even YEARS, she will get it but now is not the time.
