It's not a need in the sense that you'll perish without it, but you're obviously at greater risk of mental issues if you lack any major social connections whatsoever.

I love that game so much. These supposed flaws? If they were really so bad then the kid versions of us would've put it down.
Backtracking due to new Kongs and abilities being a bit unnecessary and tedious, the sheer amount of collectables being both unnecessary and overwhelming, time spent needing to switch between Kongs being needlessly long, some padding issues, etc. Much of that won't be a problem for kids, but you can definitely feel it if you replay the game as an adult.

It's always been a silly argument simply from a logistics standpoint of the number of guns in the country. Even without out the "muh guns!" crowd or people illegally crafting guns regardless, it'd be near impossible to physically collect them in any timely manner.

And tbh it's better that we don't. Don't need people going 150 mph down the road getting plowed in the backseat
I believe for the most part they've been way safer than human drivers so far. I'd assume this accident was a human-forced error depending on how the settings work, like the idiot just forgot to actually properly turn on the self-driving and got into the passenger seat to show how it works.

Honestly the problems needs to be looked at on a state by state, county by county level in every aspect of local government. Even without looking it up, Id bet money its not an evenly dispersed per capita issue throughout the country. There are some changes in how police oversight works thatd help on a general basis everywhere, but some places likely need everyone from the police chief to local judges purged from their positions.

How long ago were NES and SNES made?
Both the NES and SNES have their own degradation issues they're facing. The thing about them is that they're simpler tech that is easy to fix. The more complicated the tech and the more reliant it is on internet access, the harder it'll be to maintain them long term without outside methods like hacking. That's the same for games that rely on servers for updates and content that are now slowly becoming unplayable and worthless without game preservationists.

Is this a thing that's happening now, or something that'll happen 15 years down the line when the system is no longer supported and we're just facing the inevitable consequence how these products are structured? If it's the latter, this'll be solved through private servers and hacking anyway.

The fact that they abandoned virtual console for the online service's thirty games shows something is fundamentally wrong with their thought process.

Im glad the medicine is here but.. it says its primarily for separation anxiety which tells me that owner is either probably gone for far too long or the animal really does put that much faith in a person that they require medicine???

I dunno. I dont even wanna use the same language or carefulness or mindfulness we use for humans. I think far often we rely on giving out pills to fix a lot of things and translating our behaviors and projecting them on animals to make sense of our own is my main concern.
I could easily see it being necessary for like a German Shepherd with trauma issues. Those dogs can become super anxiety filled without any trauma, so a traumatized one would likely be a nightmare without chilling it out.

Something that could be seen as a tragic childhood mistake could be something like the asshole kids who throw rocks at cars off a highway bridge without realizing they can murder someone. Though it obviously would depend on their age and circumstances. They deserve some kind of punishment, but they at least have some chance to turn it around. This case is purposefully and knowingly putting people's lives in danger and ultimately murdering someone. There is no universe in which it could be viewed by anyone as a harmless game.
