They don't, it's just unseasoned 80/20 beef cooked on a gas grill at a relatively low temp so no crust forms whatsoever. It's a really outdated and boring way to cook a patty, very midwestern-grandpa style

literally worked there for a year in the past my guy, i can say whatever the fuck i want. trash burger.

basically fell apart the moment i bit into it, absolutely soggy mess despite me only getting a few toppings

main culprit seems to be the bun was almost/completely untoasted so it turned to brittle paste on the drive home, which is more a problem with whoever was working the bun station tonight than the chain itself but still, shouldn't ever ever ever happen for how much they're charging for these burgers

would've been better off at mcdonalds for much less money

I tried out for a couple kitchen jobs and didn't get them when I was struggling. I was kind of awkward and didn't process things and orders fast enough. When I worked in a deli people would get frustrated at me for being too slow.

I guess how would someone who isn't naturally snappy develop the skills to work in a high-paced environment?

you have to make a conscious effort to working at quickly as possible without sacrificing accuracy so that working fast becomes your new normal and going extra fast is your new second gear
just like training any other muscle-memory type of skill like aiming in a video game

why do so many chefs have such shit attitudes
used to be a waiter at a busy restaurant before the pandemic, and no matter how stressed i got, i'd never take it out on my coworkers (unlike a lot of the chefs)

it's a stressful underpaid gig and head chefs are trying to make a name for themselves while chaperoning a bunch of convicts and amigos so they're basically always on tilt
