I love making Walter happy with food. Apparently the whatever hunt wild rabbit wet food they had at a local place went out of business.

Hes gonna be so choked when he realizes it doesn't exist anymore. I might have to take him wabbit hunting honestly.

I don't even know what to give him for treats anymore besides actual beef and chicken. I got some boar meat cat food im hoping he'll love though.

I am sad that Walter will not be getting his fav. Many cats love liver and kidney. Being that this is organ meat, you would want a source free of hormones, toxins and prions. I think you bake it but there will be recipes on line and maybe even suppliers.

3 kittens and you need to ask? I am sure that they get let out. Kittens chew on stuff, the same as puppies. In particular bengals chew on gloves and socks.

I do not know where that poster is coming from but I do know that being able to quit your job does not give adequate control over your future. Let me point out that the situation at the Topeka Frito Lays plant would not have improved if people quit their jobs instead of striking as a group.

The very fact that so many laws have been passed (and revoked) to cripple unions testifies that unions are a benefit to the working poor.

I would like to say that fired pottery and the ability to store food preceded the domestication of the horse. While fire pottery was produced before the horse was domesticated, it does not seem that the cultures domesticating the horse had fired pottery. However, having horses gave the horse cultures of the Great Steppes the means to acquire the preserved food so there is an element of truth in this theory.

I think that what is missing from my theory is that at the beginning of domestication, the culture needed to dedicate itself to the task of managing horses.

My guess is that learning how to store food for winter and droughts was major in domesticating horses. The other step seems to be taming a stallion that could be managed. Before this event of taming a stallion herders most likely took their mares to wild stallions for breeding.

There are lots of infections going around. I have a low grade infection of something. Thing about isolating as much as possible is that even if you do not have covid, you can catch covid in addition to what you have.

Archeologists say that the horse was domesticated 6,000 years ago and part of this theory is that the horse riders overrode the local languages and established Indo European.

Why did it take so long?

My guess is economy and infrastructure. I am guessing that if you are galloping around on a horse both it and you need a calorie intense diet which needs some underlings to get the food together. If you are on a subsistence level sooner or later the horse gets too weak to be ridden.

I am guessing that horses were tamed and ridden long before they were domesticated.
