It's hard not to laugh because I walked to work on Tuesday in a foot of snow, but I know at the same time they're not prepared for something like this and it's crippling to them.

It looks like Chernobyl. Wild. And yeah I know what you mean. We don't get snow in Australia so if something like that happened here, we'd probably be in the same boat, compared to those northern American states.

Yep, just cancelled my subscription. Expires in two days, so good timing on my part.

It always makes me feel kind of sad when I do that though. I played the fuck out of this game when I was a teenager, so it's always a bummer that you can't recapture that magic.

WoW is a game that you need a good guild to make it, imo. It's not a solo game.

I went to the 2015 Asian Cup final at home with Australia in it and we won, and it was the absolute pinnacle. Nothing like that will ever happen again for Australia (winning a major tournament on home soil).

I don't believe so but there's no way to prove without certainty there isn't. Personally, I think people thousands of years ago just wanted a reason for their existence and it's the best they came up with.

Personally sometimes I do wish I was religious, it would be nice to have something to hold onto when things go badly, but I just have never had any connection or moment or anything that has made me feel there is a god. I'd need actual proof that one existed for me to believe.

Got my first psych appointment with the new therapist on the 24th. Doctor said I probably have depression as well (which causes my anxiety), but idk. Maybe? I've been diagnosed with anxiety many years ago but never depression. Wouldn't surprise me in all honesty. I manage the mental symptoms well, it's just the physical symptoms that affect me which is why I went back to the doctor and got the diazepam script.

Yeah, COVID is only active in 3 out of 8 states in Australia (well I mean, that's based on what they test), and my parents live in the hardest hit state. I'm in Queensland, they're in Victoria.

Honestly guys I've been drinking a hell of a lot less too. It's been good and needed. Its' probably why my anxiety has shot through the roof without the self-medication, but that's what the diazepam is for, so yeah.
