Apparently they gave her acetone pads to slowly slough it off. Still likely did significant damage to her scalp. Puffy hair is the least of her hair problems now.

EricDraven59 posted... I see.. Damn thats crazy. What about acetone treatment? Google says thats the main thing thats used to remove gorilla glue from skin and such. I don't know if she did that already, but why would acetone work for skin glue removal but not hair?
There are plenty of things that can remove powerful adhesives. The problem is that they usually aren't great for your skin.

Also, things like acetone and Goo Gone can work for adhesives that haven't had time to set, but this does not appear to be such a case.

It is tough to give an accurate prognosis without knowing the exact product, how she used it, and the time and modifiers involved. Many of the solutions to problems like this involve a lot of skill and slow removal of layers. A lot of work (and likely cost) for something so easily avoidable.

By the way can she just shave her head? Not sure if it will work with her hair being like cement. But if thats what you need to do then its time to let your hair go
She will be lucky to not lose layers of skin, her hair is an extremely minor concern at this point.

Trash talking is designed to up the stakes (and thereby increase excitement) by putting your dignity on the line and giving incentive to others to shut you up.

Trash talker defends their rights to talk shit, challenger works to shut them up.

When the insults have no legitimate connection to a competitive event, it isn't trash talking anymore, it is just insulting and/or being a douche.

Best diet is one packed with protein (note that I said protein and not just meat) and plenty of vegetables. This assumes you moderately work out and try to build at least a little muscle.

Foods that should be staples for you:

  • Black beans
  • Greek yogurt
  • Quinoa
  • Eggs
  • Spinach (I prefer frozen)
  • Kale and Brocolli
  • Bananas and other fruits
  • Turkey and chicken
  • Peanut butter
  • Tortillas or whole grain bread
  • Swiss cheese
Many of these can be combined in multiple different ways. For instance you could combine eggs/quinoa/spinach/chicken for a "fried rice" like dish, or go quinoa/black beans/tortillas/turkey for a nice burrito. I generally keep the carbs low, but I don't abandon them. Doing so is recipe for a slowed brain and lower performance.

The key is that if you have something like a sandwich, you need good ingredients to go with it. So like a chicken sandwich with spinach and swiss cheese is great, but if you start throwing processed meats and cheeses in there, and avoid the vegetables, you can run into trouble. My advice is always to eat the right foods before you start worrying about portion sizes. Many try to change what they eat and go with minuscule portion sizes at the same time and it never fucking works.

They're barely referenced in any case
I would not say they are "barely referenced" given his past has a significant impact on both the general story and the conclusion.

Hell, the reasoning for killing Baldur is taken directly from the other games.

I think that Gaunter O'Dimm and Olgierd von Everec from the Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone DLC are not just some of the better written antagonists from this past gen, but some of the better written characters all together.

Baldur from God of War (2018) is up there for me, too.
I agree with all of this.

I thought Hades was a good antagonist in Hades as well.

It is actually a pretty big deal for several reasons:

1) Democrats will be in charge of all elected leadership, the House, the Senate, and the Presidency going forward, allowing them a lot of freedom to enact their agenda. Note that a 50-50 tie means the Vice President vote decides. Which means Democrats decide.

2) Mitch McConnell will lose many of his Majority Speaker of the Senate powers, which has allowed him to do everything from push through rightist judges, to shielding Republicans from having to vote for shit that would make them look bad, to generally being a piece of shit not concerned with passing any legislation except that which benefits himself and the rich.

3) The Senate is in charge of confirming cabinet members and judicial appointments. If Republicans had maintained their control, they could have easily been a thorn in the side of incoming Biden administration. They are massively deflated in their power having lost it.

Oh that wasn't why she failed the test. She failed because her weapon got stolen.

But like I said, a judge who loses their gun is still infinitely preferable to a judge that is working for the criminals directly.
I didn't say that was why she failed the test. I was saying he kept bringing up the test and scenarios to see what she would do, and when she responded to his "letting the guy go is an automatic fail" with "I already failed, but he was a victim and I'm letting him go because it is the right thing to do" he passed her because she earned his respect and he believed that was the kind of decision making needed for a judge.

The one teeny tiny little problem I had with it was the ending. I thought for sure Dredd would still fail the rookie because she broke whatever rule it was lol.
I think it is entirely in character. He keeps asking her what she would do and by the end she outright tells him that she is letting the guy go because he is a victim.

Dredd was using the test and rules to probe her and see how she'd handle complex situations. He isn't the law equivalent of a grammar nazi. He passed her because she earned his respect and he is confident in her ability to make ethical decisions.

You mean he just confirmed what everyone already knew, that the ST was a SJW fest. That is, only concerned with surface level and checkmarking "racial diversity" and not actually interested in making meaningful racially diverse characters a significant part of the story.

He isn't fucked, what a ridiculous thing to say.

Your tips for success:

1) Accept reality, don't make things worse by taking drugs that offer a temporary solution with the risk of permanent damage.

2) Workout. Get in shape, mold a body that works with your head (ever seen a super buff guy with a really small head - don't do that). Particularly pay attention to posture, as good posture is essential for presenting a good image as a bald man.

3) Depending what you're going for in 2, adopt new clothes to go with the new look.

4) Be realistic, not fatalistic. Some people are not attracted to bald people. There are plenty who are, accept that some are not and move on.

In short, it is not the end of the world and there is plenty you can do to make yourself presentable and attractive, you will be fine.

Start working out, adopt a beard (if you don't look good clean shaven), and shave it off. Finasteride, and other drugs and topical treatments, are a temporary solution, but once you stop using them, it will fall out anyway. Do yourself a favor and skip that step.

Further, I have never met someone who took finasteride and hadn't experienced significant side effects. Met plenty of people who were in denial about that though.

Be aware.
