People also seem to forget she was pregnant without a stable job, and her husband has cancer. I only thought her actions were reasonable. Not everybody can stay calm during that much duress, in fact most people can't, especially not her haters lol

And their other child is disabled and has his own medical needs. Plus, prior before finding out the truth, she had a husband who was behaving extremely erratically, looked like he was having memory lapses and an emotional breakdown, which he then spun into him covering for a serious gambling addiction.

And when she's finally in the know, Walt descends further into villainy and greed and becomes genuinely dangerous and often incredibly flippant about the risk he was putting everyone in. And let's not forget that he forces himself back into their home and goes on to rape her.

I can understand why people don't like her, but even outside the straight up 'Skylar is a massive bitch' comments, I think there's some very deep-rooted misogyny in the way people talk about her.

Also, the unseen element of this.

Her argument was solid and had several good points. Other women and girls could see this and walk away with the knowledge and empowerment to stand up for themselves when this happens to them.

And not just that, but there could be some burgeoning edgelords who will see this who will actually take a moment to reflect too.

Microwave. The convenience, opportunities and money saved is worth it IMO.

It's obviously not 1k a week saved, but what it does save would be easy enough to really help me sort my actual finances out and at that point I can starting saving and eventually investing.

So in the end you could end up with the magical microwave of dreams, eating the best foods ever, and getting a grand a week anyway.

I'd be comfortably happy on 35k, which is a little over 10k more than I'm on now. I'm paid well for my slightly above entry level position, but because my pension is so good, my take home is actually about average for my role despite that.

Currently I can afford my rent, living by myself in a suburb of a suburb, and all my bills. But the fun money and opportunity for savings isn't great. I can basically do one or the other, and I always do the former and I'm always scraping at the end of the month.

Another 10-15k, would be just an amazing boost to being able to splurge on most things I want, whilst also clearing the debts I do have and banking a lot for rainy day money, mortgage deposit etc.

I think for a long time Obsidian wasn't really respected as a capable developer and so was used to push "people will buy it anyway" games.

I think, in a way they were respected. They were chosen to do KotOR 2 and New Vegas because if their history, coming from Black Isle Studios and being the OG creators of Fallout and a bunch of other classic.

However they definitely weren't respected in the sense that the publishers seem to demand of them far too much for their size.

Nope
They are always at fault for taking contracts that are no good I get theyre basically indie but they dont have to be dumb

This is such a shite take, especially when you consider that LucasArts decided they wanted to release KotOR 2 a year ahead of schedule. I think it was just 14 months from start of production to release date in the end, so basically at most, one year in actual production before they had to start manufacturing and shipping.

They were supposed to have 2 years production. BioWare got 3 years to make the first game.

Americans already pay over twice per person in taxes than someone from the UK. Nearly $12k per person, per year is spent on healthcare by the US govt, yet 90m people either have no, or incomplete access to it.

You already pay more than enough in taxes, the problem is that your system is insanely corrupt and broken.

That said, I think 6 is the worst series and it gets better again after that, with the exception of a few moments in series 9. I also love the Florida arc and think it's the closest the show came to hitting those series 2 and 3 highs.

Also, dont get the hate for Nellie, especially in series 9. They really toned her down and she became quite likeable imo.

it's clear that these people don't even care about the story, the characters, or how faithful they are to their source material(s)

otherwise they'd also take issue with Alice from Alice in Wonderland and Peter from Peter Pan now being siblings, and their stories being intertwined with some kinda real world backdrop, and the final product is something totally new

This was my initial take away and surprised you're the first and only person to have mentioned it. All these fragile crybaby racists, whining about the sanctity of the original stories because the cast isn't waspy enough for them, and not one has complained about how they've merged two distinct and unrelated pieces of fiction.

Personally, I thought it looked interesting. Everyone always complains about remakes and retellings, but I thought this looked like a good middle ground between doesnt something new and using established characters.

If you like psych rock, check out the album Murder of the Universe by King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.

It's a 3-part concept album. The first part is about man stumbling across an Altered Beast, a kind of demon monster, and wanting to become the beast himself. The second part is about a demi god battling it out with a monster he accidentally resurrected. The third part is about a cyborg wanting to die.

Having a battle arena type event would be a good chance ot include some other of Supe's galactic rogues, like Lobo, though. Could have Lobo as another prisoner/fighter or as someone working for Mongul in capturing fighters etc.
