I have this female classmate who is a few years older than me who made a disparaging comment about my appearance (that I only wore affordable clothes) and who kept riding me the whole year about it, even when I spent money to dress better.

I got a better grade than her in every class, impressed the professors way more, and got her dream job immediately upon graduation.
