I actually own Subnautica but didn't play it too long. I don't think it's my kind of game.

As for hyper light Drifter, I did play it and thought it was pretty good.

I'd give Outer Wilds a shot, there's no crafting in it, it's just exploring and mystery solving

Hyper Light Drifter is a much more dialed and focused version of crosscode, which is pointlessly long and has goofy dialogue

If you're wondering what they're like, Outer Wilds is extremely similar to Subnautica, but in space. Crosscode is kind of like Hyper Light Drifter but not as good imo. Outer Wilds is extremely good
