They are given the whole transaction fee (assuming it's a direct wallet to wallet transaction - obviously if a 3rd party, such as an exchange, is involved, they may have their own fee). The idea is that by the time all the coins are mined, transaction fees alone will be enough to keep this worthwhile. I also believe transaction fees aren't a set property of Bitcoin in and of itself, but rather that miners can decide if fees are enough for them or not and choose not to process the transaction if not (of course, nothing stops a different miner from doing so). | Trumble 02/06/21 1:28:47 PM #2 | What would make it worth it to you? Bragging rights? If so, absolutely. Actual performance? Well, are you running into any limits on the 1080 Ti so far? Or does it still run everything you want it to, at the settings and resolution and frame rate you want? If it does - then it's not time to upgrade yet. If not, sure, go for it, and RTX 3080 is pretty up there as far as being futureproof goes. (The 3090 exists, yeah, but with the increase in price to step up to that, and the fact that it could still become obsolete due to new features rather than insufficient performance, kind of feels a bit too risky.) EDIT: If you meant this as an outright question of "is the 3080 more powerful?", then yes, very much so. The only question is how well the tax side of things works out - this would presumably need some pretty heavy taxes, which in turn is a further disincentive to working. I bought my PS3 and Vita second-hand, and I bought my PS4 from a major general retailer. All my games are digital, except a very small number on PS3 that were either second-hand or received as gifts. FF7 would've been a solid answer in its day, but feels so horribly dated now (and the remake can eat a fat one). FF8 holds up pretty damn well for a PS1 game (and I'm assuming the remaster is even better) graphically, but yeah, the gameplay is a bit awkward at times. FF9 is good, but it's most enjoyable if you're familiar with the series and can appreciate the references. FFX is an amazing game, but it's a bit "outside the box" compared to the other traditional FFs, so probably not best as the "first" FF either.
