I voted Hollow Knight, but if you like Bioshock, Dishonored, then you might like Prey.

Undertale is garbage, but I love love love Hollow Knight and Night in the Woods. Haven't played any of the rest, but 13 Sentinels and Kentucky Route Zero both seem cool. (Death Stranding does too, but I know I'd hate the act of actually playing it)

yessir, it's one of my favorite games, and if helped me better appreciate both the cyberpunk genre and western RPGs

yup, I really enjoyed those two back on the PS3, and I've heard nothing but good things about Prey.

idk if it was from one of your posts or someone else's, but something I read on CE made me want to check out Night in the Woods.

I'd say pick MD then
Just a word of warning about Sekiro it can be very difficult early on. Even moreso than the Souls series so if you do pick that don't get frustrated

I talk about how great Night in the Woods is quite a bit, but I usually don't go into too much detail, so PROBABLY not me? It is great though. The dialogue is very down to earth and painfully honest; some unforgettable characters in there.

thanks. I played a bit of Sekiro before beat Lady Butterfly and got to the second phase of Genichiro, but my PS4 stopped playing physical games, and now it has been almost more than a year since I've played it.

yea, I've heard that the writing is really good, and the game's length isn't that long.

I was pretty baked and on downers the majority of the time I played, so that couldbbe why it flowed so wellfor me lol. Definitely was the last game I really couldn't put down tho. Hollow Knight is amazing too.

I skimmed past Desperados III in the poll options, but that's my favorite game of this list. It'd a really satisfying set of stealth puzzles that like Hitman offers optional objectives and reasons for replaying each mission. Also it is on Game Pass.

I don't have an Xbox, but I do own every game on the poll

I decided to go with one of the options with the fewest votes - Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition, huehuehue

I'll probably play Hollow Knight after that, though.

If you haven't played undertale, do that. If you know me you might think I'd hate a game like that but even I can't. It brought me to tears multiple times. Its outstanding

yea, I'm planning on eventually playing it, but I've spoiled myself with some of what happens because I never planned to play it (I wasn't really into digital games at the time), so I'm kinda putting it off for now.

hollow knight will last you more hours, though. but night in the woods' story is fantastic.

oh, mankind divided is actually so dope. the story is bad and unresolved, but the gameplay is 11/10. refined the shit out of Human Revolution and the exploration is so choice. definitely give it a go. my first run thru took me around 60 hours

thanks again for the replies.

I'll probably do - Kentucky Route Zero > Hollow Knight > Undertale > Death Stranding or Mankind Divided > Night in the Woods

I'm trying to play a short game in between longer games, and that's why I didn't immediately jump into Hollow Knight after Like a Dragon.

I just beat Kentucky Route Zero, and I decided to go with Death Stranding next, since I felt I should give it a proper second chance.

but Kentucky Route Zero is something else; it combines the mundane with the preternatural in interesting ways, and idk how I feel about it, but I think it's a beautiful game that anyone who's into adventure games should give a chance.
