Interesting. I think to truly understand this, Id have to experiment with incredibly safe stocks and safe options and just see what it results in.

What would happen if I pick a very low strike price with a very long expiration date, essentially guaranteeing itd get hit?

So long calls are doing what I did in that draft, except you choose a date super far down the road? And the farther down the road you choose, the less gains you have since its less risky?

Interesting. So Buy to Open just means picking a stock and predicting when it will hit a certain value by? And if its under the value by the date then I lose it all, but if its over the value (regardless by how much) then I gain?

Market has been big green the past two days. Makes it tough to get in.

For people who can afford to stare at the stock market all day, like to day trade, and also dont mind taking risks... I recommend YGYI. It is a shitty stock that once went up like 300% during Covid because of their hand soap or something and has since retreated to delisting levels.

Anyway, it might be the worlds most volatile stock. It ebbs and flows at least 5% everyday, multiple times per day. The trick is to buy it when its under .300 and sell when its over .310. The pattern is almost clockwork. You could make anywhere from 5% to 50% gains in any given day doing this.

I keep hearing about her, Wood. I even had the other ETF shes got (sold it prematurely for a loss, of course).

I cant see Tesla going down 15+%, let alone staying down for a period of time. I just cant.

I bought it about two weeks before its split (august 31 2020) believing that the price would go down once it did. In the week and a half I had it, it went up 10%. Then I sold it, the stock went down for about a week or two, and its gone up another 150% since.

Sometimes you just to go with the market.

I went to a Tesla dealership on Saturday and it was jam-packed. This was in the northeast, during Covid, on a Saturday afternoon. I also think many people who own Tesla stock wont ever sell it because they love Tesla so much lol.

I am considering putting in $25k to Tesla and letting it sit. That stock has gone up 800% since 2020. It is relentless.

Anyway, looks like GME and AMC are both going down. I wonder if either will end up green at any point tomorrow. Today was a good day for the rest of the market. Im going to look into what Motley Fool is recommending and share any goodies.

The person who lost $50 would still be more screwed over than the person who lost $150k because they still have barrels more money to invest again while the other person is eating ramen for the month for daring to try and stonk. So you would invest $150k out of $450k into GME just as easily as $50 out of $150? Doubt it.

The more money you have the harder it is to invest it all in these types of stocks.

Is the GME / AMC bonanza over yet? It was a great opportunity to make big money but it seems like the hype train may have finally ended? If not, is anyone even comfortable putting more money in at the current prices?

Related I just made $100 selling and unselling the right for people to buy my AMC for $28 at any time before 2/5. You really need to get into this covered call business Moonroof. Much safer day trade flipping if you really gotta do that.

I wish I had the time to research more. Im sure were all busy and Im not saying Im more busy than anyone else, but I definitely rely on your guys input more than anything else when investing because there are simply not enough hours in the day for me to study up.

If I could buy crypto I would be daytrading DOGE twenty times a day.

I would preach that everyone continues doing what theyve been doing here. These topics have been a wealth of information for people and generally has very good stock advice. I also echo that WSB is usually not a good place to seek advice from, but this GME/AMC stretch is an exception to that rule.

In the beginning (March through June) I wasnt comfortable investing all $90k. I limited myself to $25k then $50k then $75k. So I think Im over double but its hard to prorate it all. I only just recently started investing over $75k.

I started off with $90k and am at $175k. I am much more conservative and nervous than most people here though.

What do we reckon are the entry prices of GME and AMC now?

Excellent, Ex. If it goes under $13 (which it does like every week) thats when you buy it. It usually wont go lower than $12.80, to give you a floor. Itll usually go over $13.20 the next day. Repeat.
