You're right, but I guess we ignore it in these dicussions because it's too obvious. And also I think people kind of separate the monster-collecting RPGs from the rest of them.

I guess it's more accurate to say "more traditional JRPG series".

But as mentioned, the ownership of Pokemon is kind of weird. Nintendo doesn't have full control of it.

Nintendo owns the trademark, but Pokemon is considered to be separate from the umbrella of Nintendo IPs.

Over a decade ago, it may have been Golden Sun, but that series crashed and burned. Xenoblade seems to be doing much better for itself, even if the later entries didn't quite capture the magic of the original game in their own ways.

I for one am all for Xenoblade being grown as a brand.

They're history didnt start as soon as they came into contact with the white man.

We're talking about American history; you yourself said as such. American history is all about White men doing things while preventing--sometimes violently--minorities and women from being able to achieve the same things.

What relevance does teaching African history as you suggested later on have with Black Americans wanting to learn about the contributions of Black people to American history?

Because White women were still discriminated against and were barred from pursuing the same opportunities that their male counterparts could.

Minority women already had the stigma of being minorities working against them. But White women, despite being of the "superior race", still were not able to pursue and achieve the same goals that their male counterparts could.

What is wrong with getting full citizenship for immigrants? Now they become Americans, pay taxes and contribute to economic growth. Am I wrong on that front? I dont get how that is a negative.

Gamecube controller was 100% comptable with Smash Bros Brawl but that's about it.

The GCN controller worked for many Wii games up until they removed compatibility for GCN from later Wii units.

The Wiimote also worked with a number of Wii U games that supported it.

This is all being led by a SJW butthurt woman and minority's didnt do more throughout american history, and the evil white man trailblazed the vast majority of it.

Because women and minorities were often flatout not allowed to do the things that allowed White men to make those breakthroughs. And even the ones that did had their contributions downplayed.

The XL models, I believe are readily available, since that was the model Nintendo of America at least focused on releasing.

The standard size ones were only released in bundles, and were released in limited quantities, especially the black one.

I bought my dad a USB Wifi adapter (this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07J65G9DD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) a few months ago because the built-in wireless adapter in his laptop kept having a problem where it would just flatout stop working after a while, forcing a PC reboot.

Today, he showed me that the USB adapter isn't working anymore. The PC will register that it's plugged in, but it won't light up. The PC says that the adapter is disabled, but even selecting to re-enable it won't actually do it. If I try to reboot the PC, it will take a long time to do that, before giving me a BSoD with a Driver Power State Failure message.

My idea was to do a complete uninstall and reinstall, but the computer seems to hang at uninstalling the driver for it, whether it's from the Control Panel's Programs and Features page, the Devices page, Device Manager, or even with the uninstall batch file that I downloaded from the manufacturer's website.

I tried plugging it into my own laptop, and experienced some of the same issues, with it not uninstalling, and throwing up the same BSoD after taking a long time to restart. Luckily in my laptop's case, the driver was gone when it did come back up. I have no idea about my dad's PC, though. Either the driver is corrupted, or the device is broken/corrupted, which is strange because it's only a few months old.

Anyone have any ideas, before I decide to just buy another one (of a different brand) if it comes to that?

Unless VR takes off, I feel that we may have plateaued, at least as far as innovations are concerned. They'll probably be focusing more and more on making games look and perform better.

I think the biggest problem is he's playing games that are completely divorced from his childhood. In the early videos he was taking the reactions he had while playing certain NES games as a kid and then exaggerating those reactions. These days he sometimes plays games that came out when he was in college and beyond which from what I gather was a time when he wasn't really engaged with video games at all.

Exactly how I feel. While there are come exceptions, he's clearly phoning it in at this point.
